Damn good soft pretzel. It’s huge with a processed cheesy dipping sauce that reminds me of everything my mom wouldn’t let me eat as a child and the tastiest honey Dijon sauce I’ve ever had. We had to come back to get it a second time. 11/10 ambiance if you sit on the dock at the right time of day, super cool secret tiki bar and friendly service.

Yes, when you’re in the Grove, there are limited options, and you have to bring a lot of cash, but I want to echo others that this place is not doing so well this year. I won’t even write out the details, it’s the same as other low star reviews. Mainly I’ll say that Sand Castle is so much ridiculously better. Take your money there, at least until we get some management improvements at Island Breeze.

At the end of a day trip, my son and I missed the 8 p.m. ferry on a rainy Thursday evening. The next ferry wasn't running until 11 p.m. so we were thankful to find respite inside the Island Breeze. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Our waiter, Ethan, was friendly and helpful beyond our expectations. We had a nice meal and some drinks, after which, we were welcomed to stay until the 11 p.m. ferry arrived. Ethan even provided a charging cord for our cell phones. Also working were Lynette and McKenzie who checked on us frequently. As 11 p.m. approached, we noticed that these three staff members would be on the same ferry back to Sayville. We had a great time chatting with them. As we arrived in Sayville we said goodbye and began to the board the shuttle in the rain. That is when the driver said it was cash only. Before I could get a plan together in my head, Ethan had his walled out and was payiing the $6 shuttle cost. We tried to get his information to reimberse him but he refused. If these nice people are a reflection of how this business operates, they are well deserving of your patronage.

Perfect local spot with amazing waitstaff and view. Food was great! Fried calamari was crispy and not chewy. Ceasar salad with salmon was perfectly cooked and great cocktails. Service was excellent

Very meh on every level. Some of the staff were nice, some of them lost, some of them we had to ask 4-5 times for napkins… ?♀️ most of the food (if not all) is just industrial low quality product that’s heated for you. Prices of upscale SoHo restaurants.I don’t recommend.

Gave the place a try as they have a new menu this season. We were sat at a table outside with a lovely view. While someone was taking our order, a second wait staff started to yell at them because we were not their assigned table. After a lot of back and forth they walked away without our order. Then a third person showed up to take our order. The food was horrendous. We ordered a salad, veggie tacos and roasted Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were not roasted, but served wet. The veggie tacos were cold and the salad (the attached photo does not do it justice) was just iceberg lettuce and carrots soaked in a sesame ginger sauce. The restaurant is in need of a hard reset. Not worth your money. Go to Sherry’s instead!

Horrible service. Sat down today with my friends today around 6:30 pm. After sitting at the table for over 10 minutes with ZERO acknowledgement, I went up to the bar to order drinks for us. After telling the bartender what I wanted she said “OK have a seat” Waited @ the table for another 10 minutes and no drinks were served. I can understand if they were short staffed and it was busy..but there were 4 people behind the bar doing absolutely nothing! It was NOT busy. I now see why HELLO! Went to sand castle and had a great experience.
