So so tasty!!! The butter chicken is melt in your mouth and the samosa chat is so flavorful. Highly recommend a stop here
This restaurant service is very bad why long time waiting for people that’s it it’s not good
Great Indian food, been here several times. One of the best ethnic Kerala food in town. Amazing hospitality.
I visited Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant last Friday all the way from New Jersey, and it was absolutely worth the drive! It was Fisherman’s Night at dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.
The food tasted just like home — especially the kalamari fry, which was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fish peera was another standout — fresh, authentic, and cooked with just the right amount of tang and spice that brought back coastal Kerala memories.
The ambiance, the hospitality, and the traditional flavors made it a truly special evening. I could feel the love and effort in every dish. Thank you, Kuttanadan, for bringing a slice of Kerala to our plates!
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy real Kerala seafood and warm hospitality. Will definitely be coming back! 🙌🐟🍛
The service here is absolutely outstanding. Servers, they were so friendly and attentive. Things like that turn a nice dining.

Had lunch on NYE. We thought it was Santoor when we decided to go but the menu is labeled Kuttanadan and has a lot of Kerala dishes which Santoor never had. The lunch buffet was a bit sparse (two meat but only one veg) and we wanted leftovers to take home, so we ordered a la carte. Overall the food was standard fare, good but nothing that would compel us to rush back, esp. for the prices they're charging. For example, the menu said the mutter paneer was 14, bill had 16+, but we think that was the credit card upcharge. (The bill shows a cash discounted price option at the bottom. A menu or receipt with cash vs credit prices per item would have been more transparent.) The mutter paneer was fresh and tasty, the goat curry ($22 on menu) was good but lots of bones, the Naan was fresh and soft. My bro wanted lamb but they were out so he got shrimp, he said it was OK but that the goat was better. The samosa filling was a little too mushy for me. Service was OK, staff is friendly. Food took long to come out but that's on us because we ordered a la carte while they were offering the lunch buffet. I must say everything was freshly made and good, just not exceptional. The dining area is very clean and they were playing modern remixes of old Bollywood tunes that we really enjoyed to so that's a plus. Not everything is on the menu so ask if don't see what you want - while ordering Naan to take home for our leftovers we found learned they have alu paratha which is not on the menu.

I visited Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant with my family of 6, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired.
The ambiance was just okay, but the place felt quite small and cramped. We had to wait over 30–45 minutes for our food, which was frustrating. When the food finally arrived, it was a mixed bag. The biriyani was overly sweet with too many raisins and had an overwhelming clove flavor that ruined the dish. The chicken chettinad, which we’ve enjoyed at other authentic Indian restaurants, tasted nothing like it should—it seemed like they used beef curry gravy with chicken, and the result was absolutely terrible.
The only saving grace was the chili chicken, chicken 65, and fried rice, which were decent.
To top it off, the payment process left a bad impression. We added a custom $15 tip only to realize afterward that a 15% gratuity had already been included for our party of 6. This was not communicated upfront, and it felt deceptive. Had the service and food been good, I wouldn’t have minded an extra tip, but in this case, it certainly wasn’t deserved.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I don’t see myself returning.

I had lunch at Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The flavors were authentic, and the food was cooked to perfection. I ordered butter chicken which was rich in spices and full of flavor, and paired it with some freshly made parathas. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The ambiance was cozy, and the vibe of the restaurant truly reflected the warmth of South Indian hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Kerala cuisine in the city!
