Can't say enough good about this place. I was in NY on vacation and decided to give it a try. The Dunkel beer made on site was perfect. I ordered some pretzel bites and dipping sauce to go with my beer and they were almost as good as the beer. I strongly recommend

Since the New Ownership, I have been to the Battlehill several times. Always greeted by warm & friendly staff and Fun, seasonal decor. I have had a chance to sample a variety of Food & Drinks and enjoyed one Delicious meal after another, The Ham & Brie Melt is a Fantastic combination!
Whether you are a Local, or a Traveler just passing by, this Quaint Brewery is a must stop in :)

Had a great meal here on our way home from dropping our daughter off for her sophomore year at UVM. Our meals were fantastic (pretzel bites, Ham and Brie sandwich, fried chicken sandwich and the honey slam chicken sandwich) everything came out hot, the fries were crispy and the service was perfect. This will be a regular stop for us from PA > VT and back.

Enjoyed a nice early lunch while passing through today. Good very good, server excellent, nice atmosphere, pub style. Sat on desk with sunshine and was very nice but a horrible view of something reminiscent of a junk yard next door. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, brews and service. And love the couch!
We stopped by after a 4 year absence due to one thing or another. We were greeted by Ashley L and told we could sit anywhere. Ashley took our drink order giving us time to peruse the menu. Deb chose the Fort Anne Pub Club,a perennial favorite while I chose the Honey Slam Chicken Sandwich. We waited a bit and Ashley explained the chicken sandwich took a while to cook. I told her I should have had the pub club as I could get a chicken sandwich anywhere. She said not like this one. She was right. This thing was huge. The coating was not too heavy and it was adorned with some great condiments. The pub club was good but Deb agreed the Honey Slam took home the prize. Ashley was super attentive and took on time to chat,i.e. me boring her with a story about our first Battle Hill encounter. To me,a server can make or break a dining experience. Ashley took it over the top! A great experience today.

Well, camping in Lake George, we came across this place and thought we’d give it a try! As a family of seven, they were quick to accommodate. Food came out hot fresh and fast. Price for quality portion size was perfect! Would highly recommend a try.

Just stopped in on the way home for a beer and a snack, we’ll definitely stop again. Pet friendly outside, pretty sure it was the owner who came out and said hi, got our dog some water.

Stopped here for dinner the other evening & was not disappointed, we were seated at a table almost immediately, our waitress was friendly & attentive. It was a bit noisy with a youth baseball travel team on the balcony. The dining area had a few large parties also. We had the fish fry & it didn’t disappoint! The hush puppies were excellent & the chef mentioned he’d make us a side order… just ask next time we’re in! Good selection of beers.
