We have had breakfast at MANY diners and small restaurants around the Saratoga-to-Ticonderoga area. Only Scrappy's and Historic Grounds (Whitehall) are places where I would drive out of our way to enjoy one of their great breakfasts. Highly recommended!

Found this little gem on our road trip honeymoon. We had just spent the weekend car camping at Buck Mountain and we wanted a good "home cooked" meal for breakfast.This place did not disappoint at all. The cost was great for the amount of food we got. There was enough left over for us to eat for lunch on the way to our next destination! The service was great. I really recommend checking them out :)

The best place to grab the best homemade breakfast you wish you could make. Pancakes are a must, and the omelettes and home fries are cooked to perfection. Portions are extremely generous while prices are very affordable. Service is friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. Scrappy’s is a must visit if you are in the area!Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available
Visited Scrappy’s at the end of a week long vacation in the Lake George area and it was our favorite restaurant we tried during our stay. Prices were more than reasonable for the portions and all the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone either staying in the area or passing through to stop in for breakfast.

SOS, Pancakes are huge portions and delicious. Home fries were done perfect. All around this place is a home run. Not a huge menu, soft drinks served in the bottle. But well worth the visit. It's a repeat kind of place. Well done!
