If you don’t have any friends with garages in which to play cornhole and have a brewski (or a hard kombucha), The Trap has you covered.If you haven’t been for their semi-frequent comedy night or Thursday open mic night experience, you’re missing out on some memorable talented salt-of-the-earth folks from all over the Northeast putting themselves out there on an OSB stage for the world to hear — jokes, poetry, and original upstate guitar, The Trap supports and hosts them all.A great place to visit if you enjoy getting to know everyone by name, and/or if you’re craving hugs and high-fives from complete strangers.

Visited Lake George for the week and drove past The Trap several times before we decided to stop in for a beer. The kitchen was closed so we weren’t able to try and of the food but beer selection and service were both excellent. Will be sure to visit the next time I am in the Lake George area.

Great bar close to lake George. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable on local craft beers and has a great selection of drinks ranging from IPAs to sake.
