Craft on 9 in Glens Falls, led by the talented Chef Shawn Haslit, offers an exceptional dining experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy, blending modern aesthetics with rustic charm. The warm lighting and stylish decor created an atmosphere perfect for a memorable evening.
Starting with the appetizer, the chicken wings were a delightful treat. Perfectly grilled and coated with a tangy, flavorful sauce, they were garnished with fresh herbs that added a vibrant touch. The accompanying dip provided a refreshing contrast, making each bite an absolute pleasure.
The salad was a vibrant and refreshing dish, beautifully presented with a variety of fresh greens and colorful vegetables. The mix included juicy orange segments, heirloom tomatoes, and tender beets, all topped with a crunchy, nutty granola that added a delightful texture. The dollops of creamy dressing were perfectly balanced, enhancing the natural flavors of the ingredients without overpowering them.
My wife's dish was a visual and culinary masterpiece. A vibrant medley of fresh greens and vegetables, including thinly sliced radishes, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes, was artfully arranged on the plate. The dish was accompanied by a rich, herbaceous dressing that perfectly complemented the crispness of the vegetables. Perfectly tender and juicy chicken cutlet tied these exquisite flavors together. Each bite was a burst of freshness, with the varied textures and flavors coming together harmoniously perfectly executed dish.
The main course was a masterpiece. The steak, cooked to perfection, was tender and flavorful, paired wonderfully with a pat of herb-infused butter that melted beautifully over the meat. The cornbread was a standout, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture, while the side of sautéed greens added a healthy and colorful element to the plate.
Overall, Craft on 9 delivers an outstanding culinary experience. Chef Shawn Haslit's dedication to quality and creativity is evident in every dish. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special night out, Craft on 9 is a must-visit destination for food lovers.

We were very excited when Craft on 9 re-opened and have been several times. The two times we have been, we sat at the bar and service was very slow. Maybe since they just opened, the staff felt overwhelmed. We did not order food as it took a while just to get a drink. The staff for the most part are friendly with the exception of one. I am sure it is just due to the restaurant being newly launched and for this reason, we of course will give it another try.

Went for dinner last night and had the blackened salmon. The blend of flavors was spot on. Absolutely one of my favorite salmon dishes I’ve had out! If you haven’t been to Craft on 9 yet it’s a must stop.

I just had such a great meal at Craft on 9! The hush puppies and caprese pasta were so delicious I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Our server was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!

This is a difficult review to write, as I truly wanted this to be an amazing experience and for this to become a new "regular spot" for date nights. Unfortunately, that is not the result.First, I want to say the staff is very warm and inviting. We were seated early for our reservation by a very friendly staff member. Our waitress, while not overly warm, was attentive and responsive.I also loved the atmosphere. The noise levels were perfectly fine, and the seating didn't leave you feeling like you were on top of other customers. At the end of the day, it is the food and menu for me. I looked at the menu located on the restaurant's website and, although it is a short menu, found a few things I was excited to try. Unfortunately, when I arrived, none of them were listed on the menu we were given. Perhaps it had been updated, and the website was behind?I was determined to make the best of it. The appetizers were good, especially the frites - great seasoning and dipping sauce. My husband loved the wings, and I did also, but I would have liked them crispy (more a preference thing). The entrees were tricky, as we ordered items that we weren't planning on. The menu is brief, and I am admittedly a pickier eater; I'm not big on fish and don't like pork, both of which were predominant.I selected the Chicken Milanese, a dish I usually love. The typical balsamic dressing was replaced with a green goddess type sauce, which, while good, didn't go well with the chicken (although it worked with the salad on top). The chicken was also thick and soft; again, this is a preference - I like chicken that is thin and crispy, more well-done. I didn't finish it and my husband didn't enjoy it either. He chose the hanger steak over grits. It was ordered medium and came out medium rare. He ate it, but I did not split as we intended, as that is too rare for me. I did try the grits, which were delicious.Overall, great ambiance and service, but lacking in both variety and end product of food. Unfortunately, there aren't many other dishes we would be interested in trying, and the 2 we ordered were not motivation to try again either.Lots of positives to this place, but I would only recommend if you are someone who can always find something they like on any menu. Or for drinks and appetizers before or after a night out.

My husband and I will definitely be back. Food was amazing!! I loved the half portion available for every entrée. The grits were better than any we ever had in the south.

The Friday night barside wait staff is the worst dining experience I've had. After an hour of waiting for my order to come out I had to remind my server that I was still waiting. When my food finally did come, it was obvious they put it in the microwave. The plate was extremely hot and the food was cold. I will never go craft on 9 again

Food quality seems to have dipped out. It used to be great, but this last time was disappointing at best. Hate to say it, as our server was fantastic.

Wasn't happy. Got seated and ordered drinks while we looked at the menu. After our drinks were brought to us the waitress told us that they were out of a few things. Well they were out of just about 60% of there entire menu! Which is already very limited. Only options was there pasta and fish practically. She could of told us before we ordered drinks. Wasted my time. My wife got the pasta entrée which was disappointing. And I paid $30 for a bowl of broth. Any reputable place doesn't run out of so many items on there menu all at once. We should of left but my wife was starving.
