Old diner with quaint , old atmosphere , history covers the walls. Treated like she knew us. Food was all homemade and delicious .great steak, great fish fry and fabulous Mac & cheese. We went for a late lunch. Coffee was excellent and .75 cents ...Seriously where on earth can you get all this great food, great coffee, nostalgia, GREAT SERVICE. We will come back. It's tucked away in Ft.Edward NY an old town that just has so much charm. Like a Hallmark movie , we really enjoyed it.Thank you for treating Scarlet like ROYALTY. Was our first time in, but won't be our last. I had the liver, bacon and onions and my husband a bacon cheeseburger. Both cooked to perfection.

My wife and i eat breakfast here at least 4 times a month. I always get the steak breakfast and it's always perfect for being cooked on a flattop and the home fries are always perfect too. My dish comes with two eggs my way and home fries and toast and a big steak, it's not prime cut but for $13.50 it's more than worth it. They also have chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting if your lucky enough to get a piece before it's all gone. Beast breakfast anywhere and you wont be disappointed.
