Bought a cannoli cake there and it was horrible. Smelt like it had alcohol in it. Used to be good years ago but it has fallen far. Would never get anything from there again. You'd be better off getting a cake from a supermarket.

First, I have to say that I have been going to this bakery since I was a kid. It was good, for a while, it wasn’t so good, But it has always been my go to every time I come into town. And this time, it was great! An art gallery of flavor. I bought my Ma’s favorite cake for her birthday, Strawberry Shortcake. I bought it Friday with intention to present it that evening to her but our day of fun got away from us and we completely forgot it in the fridge. We brought it to my brother’s house for Father’s Day Sunday and much to our delight it was still soft, moist, flavor full and Mom said it is the best she ever tasted, it was a big hit at the party. Thank you to the Lady and gentlemen who helped me. They both were extremely nice, friendly, pleasant and happy. I look forward to going back for the Cannoli and Tiramisu. Great, thank you, keep it up.

The worst bakery I ever came across. The red velvet cake taste like cough syrup and old.My kids who loves cake gave up on cake after trying cake from this bakery lol. Even the lady have a bad attitude.. I’ll give them a negative 10 if I could.

Never again. You overcharged me. $10 more than what you stated. Merry Christmas, I guess.

Holy moly. My husband bought honey balls last night. Every year we buy them from Amato’s and expect that the prices will increase a bit but for a tray that used to cost 18 to 25 dollars, we were charged 40.00 is insane. Sadly he did pay attention to the receipt until I saw it this morning. I have heard horrible things lately about this bakery, but because we have been going there for decades, we still were good customers. Today was the last time ever that they will rip us off. Goodby !!!

Had a lobster tail with cannoli cream and almost fell out of my chair. It was so good!

Been a few times and it just keeps getting better.

We got crumbcake squares and a rainbow cookie. Both are inedible: stale and flavorless. Super disappointed :/

I live in South Jersey outside of Philly. We have some good Italian bakeries here but not one compares to NY Italian bakeries. Hubby and a friend made a day trip to Long Island and they stopped off for pizza then he saw your bakery. I read mixed reviews, but all I can say is that a bad NY cookie is better than most NJ cookies ??‍♀️ I found the cookies slightly dry, but maybe I’m just used to the cookies down here. Definitely gave me a taste of home that I can’t find here. He only bought the cookies so my review ends here. ?

Amazing Italian bakery! Everything is so delicious and you can tell it’s made with love. Mouth-watering, delicious pastries. Warm, wonderful owner and staff. I love going here for how good the food is, but also they treat customers very good. I leave with a smile on my face every time.

We are very disappointed everything was old and we paid more than $100 the ricotta was acid, and the fruit was old if I could give 0 stars I would. We had to throw everything in the garbage. We couldn't go back cause we live 3 hours away but if it was for me I'd bring everything back to show them. Save your money and go somewhere else.
