It have too much long time

Poor service, they are unable to take an order over the phone due to language barrier. The employee was politely asked if someone else could take my call and he said “no.” 1 star, bad customer service.
The chef gets the food right. They don't have enough servers and cooks and the one woman serving was clearly stretched thin. This would be a wonderful authentic restaurant if the owner would just pay attention.

Unprofessional stuff and long wait no respect
Really really good food. Delicious soup dumplins and great service. Took away 3 star because the table cloths are dirty. They clean the table but only the top, the sides you can see is dirty. Please wipe down you seating and table and wash the linen. Ppl go to restaurants and expect cleanliness. Will update my review base on my next visit.

Food is generally good but a few of them are not tasty. They do add tips automatically on the bill. It may be because we are over 5 people.

Ever since this place changed owners, their quality has tanked. I just placed an online order, they messed up and canceled it, and I’m stuck with having to wait for a refund. Been coming to this place for years. It’s a joke now

Being used to great Sichuan food in flushing and Manhattan, this was surely disappointing. It was more like fast food from the corner. Chicken dish, tofu dish and pork dishes were swimming in oil and extra sugar.
The awkward service and waiter asking personal questions did not help.

It's a shame to even give one star.
I went last night and the server didn't speak English well and just looked at his phone. The service was bad so bad ! and I don't know why I should tip. I went there just because of the reviews. I will never go back again.
If the owner sees this review, should properly train your employees.

Hi everyone my friend invited me to this restaurant when I got in the front door There was no fresh air conditioning. I sat at the table. Nobody offered me a menu. My friend had to ask. The guy didn’t speak English. I just walked out. And they have too many flies in there, keeping the door open and being cheap with the Air conditioner. There was nobody in the restaurant, but my friend. I found it strange and now I found out why. I can’t read about the food because I never ordered and I never got a menu. But from walking in the door, I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody to go in there.

I am not the first person to give the bad reviews, and I believe I will not be the last to give The Chinese restaurant a bad review! Bad service! Yuck food!Dirty food!

If I could give zero stars for the service I would. Our waitress was abrupt and rude. We came in a party of five with a Groupon which was only for 4 people. Ok.. so we were told that we HAD TO order a fith entree and appatizer along with drinks. Um. Where in the world do you tell customers they HAVE TO order something?
We had to all but beg for water..never brought out duck sauce or soy sauce even after we asked...they never gave us noodles even after we inquired if they were still available...and when our waitress found out that they never came out, she promised shed send us home with them. They never materialized. Perhaps she was upset because she didnt receive the tip she told us WE SHOULD BE GIVING HER... Astonishing.
The appatizers came...and were immediately followed by the entrees..
Food was good to above average...but the place looks like an after hours flea market. Any ambiance from its former life as Janis is GONE.
We certainly will take our business elsewhere where the staff is more
welcoming and agreeable.
Update: Thanks for the reply... the waitress LITERALLY ran after my mother in law saying what tip SHOULD BE GIVEN based on what the food should have cost before our groupon... so PLEASE do NOT try and tell me and others a lie. If I didnt know better Id swear the person replying is the person we delt with last night. Playing the "these are the rules my boss makes I only follow them" was so sad. Good luck. At this rate of trying to upsell and coaxing more purchases youll be out of business before a new management or ownership group could turn it around.

Food was ok, but the Chinese lady(seems like a manager) keep asking us to order extra food and drink we didn't need. She speaking ambiguously and kinda force you to consume which made us feel really uncomfortable.
