I cannot deny that Filomenas' food is very good, however I cannot overlook the unpleasant moment I had on my last visit. We were sitting at a table in front of the bar and at the end of dinner we had ordered an amaretto which I totally disagreed with that drink since it was very watered down and didn't taste like anything! I asked the waiter what brand of amaretto was that? and he asked the bartender; which showed us an unknown brand. My husband told him that that drink was not good and that for that price and the quality of the drink they were making fun of us. The young man who I don't think was over 20 years old in a mocking, irresponsible and disrespectful way told us to TELL the BOSS and not him because he was just a MESSENGER. To which we are left in SHOCK! For the reason that it was not the answer we expected. The boy who had spent the entire time we were there talking with four girls was more focused on entertaining these young women than on the service he had to provide and perhaps to impress them he wanted to make us look ridiculous in front of them with his arrogant attitude and sarcastic I can understand that he is a young person but I think that a place like Filomenas should have a person with more experience or who has more respect for his clientele and kindness regardless of age. We at no time disrespected him, only as a clientele we gave him our point of view. Thanks to the waiter Mike who tried to help us and understand the situation! However, nothing erases that unpleasant moment in which a young bartender in front of more customers was disrespectful and arrogant.

Let’s start with the fact that they were so packed. It was almost impossible to get in. They fit me in. The hostess was lovely. She even ran after me afterwards because I forgot my to-go food. The waiter Nick was so good. He was quick, attentive, knowledgeable, and very charming. I ordered the special artichoke appetizer, which was incredible. And then I followed up with an eggplant rollatini and broccoli rabe, which was so fresh. Everything came quickly despite the crowd- I would recommend this place every day.

I was at Filomenas twice within a two month span. Both times for a party and both times the food and service was exceptional. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The food was fresh and hot at the table each time. The family style plates were great and plentiful as the staff made sure of it. 10/10 .. 5 stars for sure..

I need to be gluten-free and they do an amazing job. Anything I have ordered is simply outstanding. The service was also very good. However it may be a little loud at times.
Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and they will accommodate in any way they can.
I liked the food, which was a generous portion. A little noisy.
