Be prepared to be nickel and dimed, and for small portion sizes. I asked if a menu item comes with fries, was told “yes it comes with fries” and then was charged extra for fries. I also asked for hot sauce and they tried to charge me for that as well. Thats like charging for ketchup….not a good look. There’s no interest in customer experience here, the IRS can probably create a better dining experience.

I'm done ordering from the Franklin Square, NY location. Every time I order takeout after 8pm I always have to hear a lecture about how I need to pick it up by 8:35 bc they close at 8:45 (even though the hours of operation states they close at 9). I never receive utensils or napkins along with the takeout and the price seems to increase way too much. $25.80 for 3 measly chicken kebab pieces, potatoes, and a Greek salad that is mostly iceberg lettuce. Not worth it at all so I'm choosing to give my money to another business from this point forward.

I ordered the family combo with 5 meats and some additional sides (grape leaves, three dips with pita and chicken soup), and everything was delicious. The food was seasoned so well and the portions fed the whole family of five with food to spare.Definitely worth the price.

When in the mood for Greek this place has been hitting the spot. I love when a place offers Moussaka because theres more to Greek food that gyros. My favorite the chicken lemon soup. Hits the spot everytime! I opted for spicy feta side. But it wasnt too spicy. My husband ordered the gyro platter ans was too full to eat his salad! The baklava was okay i was expecting it to have more syrupy consistency. We ordered online and did pickup. Everything was ready when it was expected for pickup. Everything was hot and accurate. I just wish the moussaka didnt have burned edges

Overpriced with undersized Portions. This place was always a little pricey, but we liked the food, so we would still order from there fairly regularly. However, over time, they have significantly decreased their portion sizes and have begun to nickel and dime their customers for condiments. I ordered a Gyro tonight and literally got three slices of meat on it for $12.75! They now charge for tzatziki in a small cup when you order a souvlaki stick, when that used to be included. They also used to have a kid size Gyro and now that’s not an option anymore either because the regular Gyro is even smaller than the kids Gyro used to be! We are not ordering from there any more. It’s insulting if they thought they could decrease portion sizes that much and that people wouldn’t notice.

Chicken on a stick is way to burnt on the outside and rubbery on the inside. Rice is soooo hard. Greek salad if good. Spicy feta dip is good. Tzatziki is not good at all it's basically Greek yogurt and some dill, no shredded cucumber at all.

The food is good… but very skimpy with the meat. I ordered pork souvlaki wrap was full of onions and only 5 small cubes of meat. Pork is not expensive! We ordered with family pretty big order same problem with chicken wraps etc. Some family members will not order again for that reason.

Their spin on the traditional spanakopita isn't worth the price -- less filling and small

If not for a Groupon, I wouldn't even know this place existed. Apparently, there are several locations. This is a small, fast casual restaurant (can seat about 10 ppl). Counter service; no waiter service. They have all the basics: Gyros, Souvlaki, Salads, Dips/Spreads, etc. Something for everyone! Is it the Best Greek food I've ever had?...No, definitely not, but a great option if you're looking for a quick, casual meal. They even have $13.95 lunch specials Mon to Fri; 11-4pm. Items we've tried: - Greek Salad ($14.95/Large): fresh n tasty; ask for dressing on the side. Comes with warm Pita bread. - Gyro meat ($6 add-on): we added it to our Greek salad. It was tasty but it didn't include any Tzatziki Sauce. Had we known, we would have ordered some. - Pork Souvlaki platter w.lemon potatoes, chicken lemon rice soup, pita bread and Tzatziki Sauce ($20.95): this platter was huge and delicious. It came with 3 delicious skewers of pork. The soup and lemon potatoes were great! And the warm pita really hit the spot. Recommended if you're looking for a quick, casual meal. Lots of construction going on in the plaza that this restaurant is located in, but it was an easy in and out. Customer service was fantastic! Both times we went, the young ladies at the register were very patient, friendly and efficient.

While the food offered is decent, the high prices for the small portions leave much to be desired. Even on orders worth $100, the staff is frugal with condiments, which can be disappointing for customers. By prioritizing the satisfaction of existing customers through fair distribution of condiments, businesses can save on advertising costs and build a loyal customer base.

Solid Greek food for the price. Greek salad is delicious. Often have problems with delivery because order is sometimes wrong.

When you're a business traveler or managing a busy life style, you probably consider yourself a (fast) foodie. But when you are attempting to improve your diet and it seems the only option on the road trip or a busy week is a burger or starvation, what other choices are there? Greek Xpress is a perfect alternative instead of the fast food burger joints and has been my favorite stop when I have been on the run or too busy to cook a nutritious meal. Greek food is unassuming, vibrant and exceptionally nutritious. Greek food is considered to be heart healthy because their dishes work with herbs, olive oil, fish, grain, vegetables and lean meats. Oh, and of course especially Lemon! Some of my favorite dishes include Pastitsio, Moussaka, Spanakopita, and Souvlaki. At Greek Xpress, one could capture the wonderful flavors of Greece in a "fast food" concept, while gaining the essence of true Greek Mediterranean dining. Gyro pork and chicken souvlaki, Greek salads, or grilled Octopus are just a few of my favorites at Greek Xpress. But there is always room for Greek deserts. How can you resist Baklava or Galaktoboureko? I cannot.

I love Greek Xpress! The food is on point! Healthy, delicious and lots of options. My favorite is the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. You can tell that the feta cheese and olive oil they use are authentic and very good quality. The staff was super nice and accomodating. My son is Gluten Free and they were able to make him a Gyro on Gluten Free Pita. He was so happy - it's become his favorite place to eat.

The vegetables were under cooked but the chicken, lamb and beef was great.
