I’ve tried to dine in here 2 times but the restaurant is closed both times. It says it’s open on Google maps but once I arrived and drove 30+ minutes it was closed. The phone number is also temporarily disabled and very frustrating. Any updates from the owners and staff would be greatly appreciated!!!
This is a very cute family owned greek place. The food is very traditional and not overly priced and is fantastic. You can never have a bad meal here. The owner is amazing. He's super friendly and very personable, and his brother is the chef. We will definitely be returning and definitely recommend to friends.
Kid-friendliness: The staff and the owner are fantastic with our son. He's only two years old and they treat him so kindly.

One of the best new restaurants we have tried recently! The minute you walk in, there is a warm welcome and you feel like you’re part of the family. The menu is the most authentic Greek food that you can get in the US. The sharing plates are generous portions while still allowing the family style sharing that it is designed for. We had the dip sampler, which the eggplant dip is absolutely delicious!! If you run out of pita, not a worry, they bring more and brought a bonus sampling of their hummus! We also got the grilled shrimp, tigania (delicious seasoned pork cubes) and the beef souvlaki. All the dishes were seasoned well and the portions good for sharing. Do yourself a favor and save room for desert!! We got the orange custard, which is so satisfying sweet and delicious and pairs exceptionally well with the Greek coffee. Both the owner and the waitress were so attentive and offered explanations about the menu items and made sure we were comfortable for the entirety of the meal. A definite gem of a restaurant in Franklin Square! We will definitely return.
Dietary restrictions: They are so attentive to dietary restrictions and are so accommodating!

Edesma in Franklin Sq is a must -try not your typical Greek place, it's elevated. As a party of 8 with a reservation, we tried several items on the menu because most are shareable. We did not find any that weren't craveable. Some of the items on the menu were unfamiliar to us and they explained it all to us, which helped so much. There was a small hiccup (meat a little underdone to her taste) but it was addressed quickly and fixed. The service was wonderful, and our waitress was so attentive and accommodating. We also met the owners/ brothers, who were gracious and welcoming. We have a girls nite coming up and will be having it here.
Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: Some of our party had restrictions and they accommodated them

Our party of eight went there for dinner. The food was the most authentic I have ever experienced on Long Island, it was delicious. The staff and owner were exceptionally attentive and kind. They have only been there since February and my hope is that they are very successful and stay in the area for many years to come. The restaurant will definitely be one of my favorites. We'll be back for our annual girls night soon!
Vegetarian options: We were a combination vegetarian and meat eater group with some food restrictions, everyone had plenty to eat.
Dietary restrictions: They made sure to ask about allergies and made suggestions that would be appropriate options.
Parking: The owner said the street parking was usually available and for our party if we had trouble he would take steps to accommodate parking if needed. The street parking was plentiful.

Went in for the first time last night and did not disappoint! Food was delicious and the service was great. Our waitress Helen and one of the owners Vassilis made you feel like you came over for family dinner. Such a nice, new spot to have in Franklin Square and will definitely be back!

First time there and extremely disappointed.
I’ve never been to a Greek restaurant that didn’t bring pita and Zatziki to the table before ordering. The appetizer combo also disappoints.
Worst spinach pie anywhere. Tasteless!
I do not recommend this restaurant.
