Food is amazing. They are still getting up and running so our food took some time and the staff seemed to be running around, BUT it is extremely worth the wait. The wedge salad was super fresh with bleu cheese dressing, the crab cake sammie was delicious, and the braised short rib with grits was perfect. Everything I wanted.

We attended the opening night of the Freehold House, and the food was delicious, after waiting a number of years to see a restaurant establishment there again. I had a dish of ribs which was made just right and I highly recommend this dish. The staff worked very hard satisfying the customers. I’m glad that Freehold is on the map again for a good restaurant. I’m looking forward to returning for a meal soon.

This place is a new hidden gem in the Catskills. I had an amazing ceaser salad with salmon. And jerk chicken wings as an appetizer. Peach smash drink was delicious. Definitely will be back.
