The owner was about to close up early on a cold Tuesday night, but he invited us in and cooked for us all. We were grateful for a warm meal. At this point though, it's mostly a catering business and the dining restaurant an afterthought. The owner was kinds and the food was delicious.... but if I had to guess, he'll close the restaurant front in the near future.

Finest Italian food in upstate New York, and competes well even with NYC for excellent family style cooking with excellent presentation. Better than any restaurant currently in Ithaca. Irregular hours, but we called ahead and he was expecting us. The walnut ravioli and the seafood pasta were both excellent. The owner was a lovely guy to chat with.

I cannot comprehend how this restaurant only receives 4.2 stars review. The food and the service are magnificient. The owner is really great. Please order the dessert, the surprise one. It can’t go wrong even when you are super full. Thank you for the wonderful dinner!!

We stopped in on our way home after a long Monday. We found the reviews and decided to take a chance. Boy, are we glad we did! Yes, the place appears to be nothing special at all but if you came for the atmosphere and left because there is nothing fancy about this place, you missed out! We were treated to fabulous, freshly prepared, homemade pasta and bread and outstanding desert treats! Gus, the owner and chef, made the most delicious meals! He personalized it to our preferences and just made the best Italian food we've had in a while! It's obvious that he loves to cook!! It's a small place (5-6 tables). Gus said to call first because he does A LOT of catering and that takes priority. We will be back and bring friends!! Freeville is so lucky to have Bravo and Gus!

The food was superb. I had Greek salad with chicken. Wife a pasta and chicken dish. Loved them. The place is not the place if you are looking for ambiance but the food makes up for it plus byob

Took my Greek wife there for a dinner while we were in town since she loves Greek food. Gus the owner made us feel at home and made our dishes just our way and soooo perfectly! Wish we lived closer, we'd eat here every week. Can't say enough good about the experience. Thanks again Costandino! See you next time we're up there. Steve and Marie
Excellent food! Wouldn't blame you for walking in and walking straight back out again. The seats are hard, (so bring a cushion), and the decor is not exactly welcoming, but if you can forgive all that, the food and service is fantastic! A good selection of homemade foods, and the baklava is to die for!
