I’ve been coming here since the place opened in my neighborhood, service is generally good, food portion is definitely inconsistent depending on the team on shift but today is probably the worst it’s been in a while. Team’s portion was smallest I have ever seen and learned the platter no longer comes with a drink, cashier was speaking with a customer which my friends and I thought he was speaking to and mistakenly charged us for drinks despite paying for one combo and 2 platters. I’ll pay my bill as issued and I’ll continue to come here but new customers, be wary what you’re getting yourself into if you find yourself in an odd situation.

Nothing will beat 2019-2021 halal munchies.
Still a valid spot and the service here is fire,

I been here a handful of times. Two weeks ago, I ordered kofta over rice. I noticed receipt says platform fee. I only seen a charge like this once before at a bubble tea kiosk. In summer I ordered same thing and it came with a drink. This time it didnt. I put double salad as an option so it didnt come with the fries. It should state double fries or double salad removes the other. As it already comes with both, and kiosk you can pick 3 additonal options.

Ordered 4 Chicken over rice with White, Hot and BBQ. Came home to find the driest Halal in my life. I usually go to Queens Blvd or The one on LI. But was nearby this one. Never again. Food had NO SAUCE. Half of Halal is the sauce. Machines dont work for ordering. Extra charge for card and expect tip for carryout order. Which I'm thinking is why they didnt add the sauce. Make the trip to the halal munchies on Queens Bvld or the one in LI.

I've been coming here for a while now and this halal spot never disappoints. It's more expensive that the carts you see around NYC but they also give you more food.
They are the only place that I've seen that does spicy rice and it's really good.
There is paid two hour parking outside (but you can probably get away with not paying if you're just in and out)
Food was absolutely solid. It’s cost-effective and keeps you full (with leftovers) for hours. Would highly recommend 💪

Ordered a chicken platter on Uber eats but the chicken had gone bad, absolutely disgusting. Felt sick after the first bite. Prior to this, ordered other items and staff forgot items. When ordering hungry and at late nite, it is a huge inconvenience to get missing order, or worse, MEAT GONE BAD that results in FOOD POISONING!! At this point I'll never order again, along with filing a FDA/USDA complaint for selling bad meat.

I’ve been going to Halal Munchies on and off for about 5 years. It’s close to home and the food is decent, the service has never been great. 80% of the time I go there, the staff looks like they don’t want to be there. Yesterday was my last straw. My husband got 2 lamb gyros from there. The place is about 5 minutes from my house. My husband, ordered at the restaurant, he said the guy that assembled the gyros did not want to be there. Anyway my husband got home and he immediately began to eat it. The gyro was cold, the pita bread had burn marks, was hard and cold. We were so upset, we took a few bites and threw it out.
