This is the best Italian Bakery in all of NYC and that includes Arthur Ave bakeries in the BX, 18th Ave bakeries in BK and Vinieros on the LES. Everything here is incredible, a feast for the eyes and the stomach! service is excellent as well. You can't go wrong at Lulu's!

Employees are rude and disrespectful to patrons. The cake ordering process is complicated and they are not easy to work with. No cake ordering form or website available for ordering or reviewing cake and filling flavors. No price list or cake sizes list available. Was inside store trying to get information about ordering a cake and was told to go home and call for information!! Drove all the way here, 9 miles each way to be told call on the phone!! Employee was argumentative and raised her voice to me. Walked out without making any purchases due to the way I was addressed by employee. First time and last time I will ever step foot in this business.

Lulus never disappoints. I buy all my cakes here for any occasion. The last cake I purchased the team did a phenomenal job! True artisanal cake and tastes amazing too! The owner always goes far and beyond to make sure every detail is done to perfection. Thank you again Lulus bakery for an amazing cake! It stole the show and my daughter loved it.

I paid $250 deposit for my daughter’s custom made H.S graduation cake that costs $500. I was supposed to pick up at 5 pm the day of grad party, was overwhelmed and busy and I forgot completely, nobody from the bakery called to remind me and to tell me cake is ready or even when they were closing the store at 7pm knowing that there was a custom made cake not picked up didn’t bother to make a reminder courtesy call to pick it up and avoid ruining an event. This is an abc of customer service. Not only that, my husband went there and knocked at the door about 7.20 and there were people inside cleaning and didn’t even bother to come at the door. We knew the next day when the rude call who answered the phone and heard the story said that there were people cleaning. She was so rude and kept repeating same sentences; “it is your responsibility to remember” “We were so busy, that’s why we didn’t call you” “in order to pick it up, you have to pay the remaining balance, or it will be thrown in the garbage!!!!!!!!” Excuse me ? She called me again to announce for me that she talked to the boss and he confirmed what she said!!!! That he spent time doing it and either I pay $250 or throw in the garbage !!!! Seriously???? Even though the event was over, I offered to pay half of remaining balance and they share responsibility about the other half since it is their mistake too! Today they called and said again the boss insisting on his opinion; payment or throwing in garbage !!!!!! Is this for real? You ruined my event, you took my money and you do not want to compromise??!!! What type of human are you? Business is not just money, it is goodness, kindness and service and you don’t have any of that and as such money that you earn won’t last or most probably you will use on medical bills, fines and a lot of bad stuff.

Everything in this bakery is delicious. Everything is always fresh. And the customer service is very good. I am never disappointed with the quality of their product. So far there hasn’t been anything I tried from here that I didn’t like. Definitely recommend!
