Walked in and immediately felt at home. We first opened the door to the post office, upon correctly opening the diner door, we were told that we can’t get food at the post office. From there on out, there was lots of good-natured banter. Loved it!! Of course, most folks don’t interrupt their thruway travels for conversation; they stop for food, and they’re hoping it’s good food. Located 1.2 miles from exit 28 of the NYS Thruway, Michael’s is a gem. The pancakes were delicious. The blueberry pancakes were loaded with berries and so delicate. Want eggs over easy? Perfectly done! Bacon “normal” was that perfect not-rubbery-but-still-soft consistency. Go for the food and enjoy the atmosphere!
