Only ordered 2 orders of Fried Chicken Wings, my first time going to this establishment.. Have to admit, the Wings were pretty good, indeed. Much better than most places.

I made a nice review before. My second time going there i had to spit the food back out. I asked for chicken and broc , pork fried rice with an egg and they left the pork out. Food was uncooked. Rice still raw chicken hard. Im so grossed out. Go to Wing Wong Kitchen i promise you will never be disappointed.

Ordered here for the first time recently. Was delicious! Definitely best Chinese food in the area.

First time ordering from Joy Hing and I'm rather impressed. To start, the deliver came quickly and the food was piping hot! That's always a plus! Food wise, here are the highlights: * I love that their fried rice is the old school, no fuss, soy based, fried rice. There's no unnecessary fillers, like onion and frozen carrots to take place of having to give customers more pork. It's straight up pork (which came in plenty), rice, and soy sauce. * The slurry (garlic sauce) in the chicken and broccoli was velvety with no clumps. It coated the chicken and broccoli well and held throughout the meal. This tells me that they have a well skilled chef who knows what they're doing! Both the chicken and broccoli were nice and fresh - chicken was not over tenderized. * The Singapore Mei Fun was stir-fried very well! The rice noodles were toothsome and dry (again, meaning not greasy). If you've ever stir-fried rice noodles, you would know this is no easy task so kudos to the chef! There were also a good balance of shrimp, cabbage, fresh carrots, chicken and pork! The curry flavor was good, but it could use a little hot sauce or some LGM chili crisp (iykyk). Love that they don't over tenderize their meats. I hate when they tenderize it with too much corn starch. * my order came with these cute, and very hygienic, utensil packet. In it contained nice wooden chopsticks and high quality knife, fork, and spoon; sturdy ones that won't bend from the heat of the food. * The glaze on the BBQ spare rib was good! Not overly sweet but well coated to give you the finger licking stick that we all love from a spare rib. Some heads up: * It doesn't taste like Joy Hing uses any msg and though the salt level was good and enough, it's comparatively less than many other Chinese takeouts around the neighborhood. It is certainly not bland by any means - most places are just overly salted. I actually appreciate this note though. It means they don't need to mask the quality of their ingredients. * The BBQ spare ribs are not previously marinated - another point that I prefer. So, it may not be as "tasty" as other joints that marinate their meats before cooking it. They obviously glaze the ribs here as they cook it. Again, I like it because then I know they're not masking anything. You can actually taste the flavor of pork!

Love the food and the people. Decor can definitely use a little freshening up. Very old school Chinese take out place, just like the ones I grew up with back in Queens.

Authentic Chinese food place. The quality of the food is above average. Lunch special pricing is within reason for this area.

I had a lunch special of shrimp and broccoli delivered with egg drop soup and I also ordered the shrimp toast appetizer. The shrimp and broccoli was okay, but only had four shrimp. The shrimp toast and the egg drop soup were inedible! I had to throw them out and I'm just hoping I don't get sick.

Came here for a chicken broccoli craving and it was so delicious! The food hit the spot, the prices were so affordable and the owners were so friendly. They were telling me how they switched ownership several years ago, but they still hold all the (negative) reviews from the old owners.

Today was the second time ordering from Joy Hing, and again, very very satisfied.I had the Chicken lo mein an pork fried rice and a wonton soup.Food was great, service was top notch, and the lady who serves the counter is very very sweet..The tall man that's there ( not sure if it's him and the lady who own the restaurant ) but he is a GENTLEMAN..very friendly, and always greats you with a smile and strong family like personality..Can't praise this place enough for their food and service, but Joy Hing is my new FAVORITE restaurant.Parking: Restaurant is located on Jericho Turnpike a couple doors down from Lidl inside the strip mall.
