I'm shocked this restaurant doesn't have more reviews! This is truly an authentic and underrated Peruvian spot on Long Island. This location was formerly known as The Inkan Restaurant & Pisco Bar, but it had closed some time in 2021. Latino Café & Bar replaced this location afterwards (different owners). They have Peruvian fare as well as some Latin American dishes. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally decided to order lunch from here today. For lunch, I ordered the Lomo Saltado and a Chicken Empanada on DoorDash. The food was piping hot when it arrived and tasted so fresh! The steak was nice and tender. All of the food was seasoned very well. I also loved the spicy green sauce that came with my empanada. The food was very reasonably priced as well. I'll definitely be giving more dishes a try from this place. I highly suggest you do the same :) *Note* This restaurant makes delivery orders only on DoorDash and Uber Eats. They do not make orders on GrubHub! My order on GrubHub had unexpectedly been cancelled, but when I called the restaurant, woman on the phone told me they don't offer GrubHub.
