Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite

Some of the best Italian food in the area. Their fried calamari is like butter. They have a nice 3-course weekday lunch menu. The service is great and their food is memorable. Another menu highlight for me is their vodka sauce. They give you complimentary cotton candy at the end of your meal, which is such a nice touch. Awesome family run business.

My husband and I ate at Uncle Bacala recently. We shared the small fried calamari which was huge. I had the veal sorrentino and my husband had chicken parm. Both dishes were excellent. Mixed drinks were very good. Service was attentive.

The meal itself was delicious, we shared the zucchini flowers to start, then I had the brasato al barolo (braised short ribs) with polenta (delicious and terrific portion size).. and then after our meal they brought us cotton candy! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and look forward to returning soon.

Anyone who's not been to Uncle Bacala needs to set a date for what will result in a memorable experience. No rushing, always checking on us was a pleasure the entire time from seating to coffee and dessert.

I came here for a family event and noticed this restaurant seems to have a practice of putting all of the brown-colored outside in the back where it’s cold. We raised concerns about it being cold twice and the waiter never offered to bring us inside. We finally said we would like to be brought inside and to our astonishment, there were empty tables where we could have possibly sat the entire time. There were other brown-colored people in the back area where we were as well but none in the restaurant. Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

Went for my birthday. Excellent food... the Cod Siciliana is to die for! Excellent service as well! Atmosphere is nice, crowded but not loud... you can actually have a conversation! Lol. Definitely going back!

And the cotton candy treat at the end of dinner is always fun.Parking: The lot is pretty small and is valet only. You can try to park in an adjacent lot.
