We dined at the restaurant for Sunday brunch only and didn’t stay at the accommodation. We came less than half an hour before the kitchen closed but they got us seated and our food into the kitchen fast. Got the carbonara and eggs benedict. The food was good but the dessert was great. Absolutely loved the chocolate ganache tart.

We dropped by to see if it would work as a wedding venue and it’s cute. The space seems small so it may not be able to fit a large party and no space for a dance floor. The outdoor area has a little stream running through with a wooden bridge going across which would be nice for photos. We weren’t able to speak with their sales rep but they graciously gave us their contact.

We only ate here. Didn’t stay as we are local. Food was amazing and the service and ambiance is great.

Amazing locale, delicious food, and I personally appreciate the robust nonalcoholic cocktail selection. Highly recommend!!

This has always been a favorite place of ours years (we literally live 4 miles away) however, new menu and they must have a new chef. The food was absolutely HORRIBLE last night!!!! I had cauliflower soup, a special, it was meh but worse was the consistency, more like a pudding than a soup with strange not tasty stuff sprinkle on top. The entrees were far worse. Hubby got scallop & shrimp tortellini special. It came with two slivers of scallop (yes slivers, not whole) and was way too salty! I ordered the cassoulet that was just bland with over cooked hard sausage and dry duck pieces. Hubby wanted desert (we should have just stopped at entrees) so he order the walnut liquor coffee soaked Tiramisu. Where the heck was the walnut liquor coffee soak on the lady fingers??? They were hard as rocks! Thought the plate was going to crack trying to dig in initially. It also came topped with tons of cherries (not needed) that was terrible! Not sure why or how they tasted so bad since I love cherries. Dinner, drinks (oh, their prices have increased with the new menu), app, & desert came to $200. I don't mind spending $200 on dinner at all but when I leave thinking it was just terrible, I mind. We both left saying never going there again. Couldn't get over just how bad dinner was (it was also packed BTW probable due to the new menu). It was a sad experience that still upsets me since, as I mentioned, we usually dine there quite often especially in the nice weather since they have such a lovely patio. Kudos to the bartender though, the drinks were delicious! On the small side but delicious. Checking this place off our rotation now unless I hear they got a new chef.

What a Beautiful place to stay!! We did a women’s weekend and stayed in the Warren suite and the Emily Warren room. Both rooms were equally as lovely, pretty, quaint, and well kept. The champagne and sparkling water in the room gave it an extra touch. The brunch the next morning was delicious. Would definitely recommend this inn!

I stayed at the Bird & Bottle for a weekend get away with some friends. It was amazing to unplug and relax for two days. We stayed in the Warren Suite which had perfect rustic vibes, including adorable wallpaper and cute furniture. Cold Springs, only 10 minutes away, was a quant town, perfect for walking around. Brunch the next day (which was included in our stay) was a delicious way to end the weekend. The host was super kind and attentive. I’m not one to typically leave reviews, but I couldn’t help sharing how wonderful this place is.

We only have dined here (not stayed overnight) but the food, service and ambiance is fantastic! It's truly our new favorite in the area, especially when out of town guests visit. We've come for dinner and bunch and you can't go wrong with either. It has a small cozy dining room so be sure to make reservations. Polenta bites appetizer are a must for any meal, and their cocktails are creative and tasty. Be sure to take a look around and read about the rich history of the establishment.

Food and drinks: Polenta bites, chicken breast and during brunch the frittata are delicious. The Dark Harvest cocktail is great as well!

Noteworthy details: The decor is warm, cozy and timeless. So much history to the inn so be sure to read up on it (back of the menu) and check out the bar/lounge and walk the grounds if you can.

Cocktails were tasty, the place is very pretty, the majority was extremely rude to us when we got there and made us wait outside for 30 minutes until dinner service officially started even though we could’ve just let us sit in the lobby or waiting area. Then when we came inside once they were open, he was still very rude and we basically had to seat ourselves in the bar area, but the bartender was really nice. The fried polenta was the best thing we had there.

We stayed for a night as a spur of the moment Mommy and Daddy getaway. The room was clean, pretty and the bed was very comfortable. Stayed in the Samuel Warren room which has a balcony overlooking the front of the property. We enjoyed our champagne there before going to our dinner reservation. The room reservation included brunch the next day. The food was delicious, tastes as good as it looks. We will definitely be back.

Bird and Bottle Inn is special. You are treated like royalty from the minute you walk in , the host at the door is very sweet. He will seat you with a smile, the bartenders mix specialty cocktails that are delicious. The waitstaff is doting and attentive. The food tastes amazing and the drinks are wonderful!!

I had an image in my mind of how brunch at The Bird and Bottle Inn would be. It not only met my expectations but exceeded it. We sat in a corner booth- best seat in the house- sipping on delicious Bloody Mary's made with plenty of fresh horseradish. Our server was warm and friendly, described dishes on the menu perfectly and was quick to pass on our requests to the kitchen for our bacon to be made on the crispier side (it came out perfect). We enjoyed a house made hot sauce that another server had concocted himself that took my already delicious short rib hash and eggs to another level. It was an excellent experience across the board and very hard not to sit there all day!

We were lucky enough to have Kerri as our server. A friend who lives in this area recommended The Bird and Bottle Inn for our intimate wedding celebration (after the actual craziness of the “wedding event” at a larger venue). It was the perfect setting to enjoy a one on one meal with my husband. The food is so good it should be illegal. I had the scallops with special squash side & he had the burger with truffle fries. Drinks were beyond delicious too. I had the apple spritz & he had the honey old fashioned. The popovers & honey butter though - MY GOODNESS 🤤 Excellent options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free dietary restrictions while still coming from a kitchen that cares what they are serving. We ordered the vegan coconut cloud cake for dessert when we get back home on Long Island. We will absolutely be back the next time life takes us Upstate (at the very least, for our annual trip up for apple picking since L.I. apple orchards are lame compared to Upstate 🤓)

Cheers guys! Thank you for a wonderful date night!

UDPATE: I wanted to acknowledge since not being able to honor the original reservation, Evelyn, from Bird & Bottle Inn made a substantial effort to rectify the situation. Given the upcoming busy fall weekend, she called alternative hotels and took the initiative in trying to reserve a new hotel for me to stay at. She also did make good on her promise to provide a future credit on my next visit. I do appreciate the consistent follow up and efforts to fix the situation more than other places would have! I really hope to be able to visit in the future and experience the actual Inn and restaurant!

Really disappointed in this establishment and I’d think twice before booking a stay here if it’s a busy weekend / time of year in the area. I tried to get ahead of the peak fall season but booking a room here for a peak weekend in advance. They then messaged me weeks later (when most places were already booked in the area) and said they actually have a wedding that weekend and they had to cancel my reservation. They then said to make it up to me (basically leaving me with no choices to book an alternate accommodation for that weekend), they’d give me a gift card. Lo and behold over a month later, I never heard from them again. No gift card and no response. In a way I’m happy to not have stayed there as I can’t imagine how much of a mess they are (while charging a good amount for rooms).
