VINIFERA New York - Geneva Speakeasy

Love this place! We had the lemon drop, old fashioned and espresso martini. Highly recommend all three. John and Emily were fantastic hosts/bartenders.

Really cool spot with great drinks! We were welcomed upstairs and shown the way to the speakeasy. We got a booth and ordered drinks, they came quick and were great. The atmosphere was awesome as you didn't feel like you were downtown Geneva. Would absolutely recommend for a relaxed drink night.

Accidentally found this place but so happy I did. Had to wait a few minutes for someone to come let me in the secret back entrance but then service was very quick and friendly. Great moody atmosphere and wine and cocktail selection was good. Had the charcuterie board which was nicely varied.

What a great spot. There's a winery upstairs, and if you want a more intimate feel, you can head into the speakeasy located through the bookshelf on the one wall and down the stairs. I recommend making a reservation since it is not a huge spot and does get crowded. We tried 3 cocktails, and all were delicious. We had an old old-fashioned with the cherry smoke, a mango creme sorbet cocktail, and a s'more martini. Staff is friendly, seats are comfortable, and you really get the feeling of a speakeasy. We didn't try the food, but I didn't see some people with a charcuterie that looked delicious.

fancy building in a nice location that is not taken care of, the staff is unfriendly, tv is tiny and leaning with cable box attached to back weighing one side down, remote didn't have batteries, the breakfast was removed early, all they had was plain bagels and boxed cereal, toaster didn't work, king bed was two mattresses pushed together, and this place is definitely haunted

Wow!!!! We had the most exceptional experience!! We wanted to have a quiet and relaxing and romantic evening and this Speakeasy knocked it out of the park!!! We walked in the front door and were immediately met by Jim who was just so warm and wonderful!! The charcuterie board and cocktails were fantastic!! This will be a must stop when we visit the Finger Lakes.. what a GEM!!!

This is Geneva’s best kept secret! We stumbled upon the speakeasy as recommended by a local Fingerlakes winery and this was one of the highlights of our trip! The service was impeccable and all the staff were very friendly. Thanks to the incredibly polite owner Jim who took his time to steer us in the right direction for local wineries/restaurants to try!

We took a quick look on Google and found this place and glad we did. We initially started out at the upstairs bar and had some great local wine. We met the owner and chatted about the area. He then invited us to the speakeasy which we were happy to do. You can't beat the vibes and decor here along with the great drinks. Staff was helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Come here if you're in the area.

My first speakeasy that I’ve ever been to and I’m obsessed! It’s a very mysterious sophisticated underworld type environment, but also cozy and welcoming. I’m looking forward to going again when the weather gets nice!

Went to Vinifera last night for the first time, and I was so impressed. We were downtown for dinner and decided to take an impromptu walk down Linden, so we didn't have the password. Jim met us upstairs and graciously led us through the hidden door (so cool!) and downstairs to the coziest room I think I've ever seen. The exposed brick, warm lighting, comfy chairs, Persian rugs, plants, artwork, chill music, all of it created such a unique and intimate atmosphere. We each ordered a cocktail and shared some French macarons. The drinks were tasty and a generous size, and the macarons were delicious. I loved the focus on local wines and beers. Gel and Jim were attentive and friendly. I texted all my friends about it when I got home and can't wait to go back!
