I went to Char recently. I overheard the owner degrading his own employees. Some of the things he was saying was straight demeaning. I have never been in an establishment that management did those things so openly. I will no longer be referring anyone to this restaurant. What a shame.

Beef was ice cold. It came from what looked like a hot bar that they make in front of you, but no excuse for ice cold meat on a flimsy taco shell. Not to mention how pricey this place is.
Their building needed a good snow shovel out front too. Icy conditions.

I came in today during a DoorDash pickup. I never heard of the place and i immediately said hm let me try it out for my dinner. I let the lady know I’ve never been here and she walked me through the whole process without any hassle. She let me know what was what, and explained every ingredient. I was really happy with the service. The bowl ended up being delicious! Pretty hefty portions for the price. 10/10 will be back :)
Food is always amazing. Super fresh and good bang for your buck. My only complaint is the noise level. This is not the restaurants fault! However if you get sensory overloaded with noises it can get very loud very quickly when they're busy. It is nice they have outdoor seating for this reason as well. Still come back several times and can take it to go!

I got a rice bowl and when I told the server about my food allergies, she listed every ingredient on each item before adding it to my bowl to make sure I could eat it. Truly above and beyond. Fresh and delicious and the service was top notch!
