Been gone for 3 months, had sushi many place during our travels but Jackie has got it down better than almost anyone. Consistent quality sushi and hibachi. So glad to be back. We are so lucky to have this hard working staff providing us better sushi and hibachi than City’s 10 times our size. You got to try this place. You can’t not love it.

We had a nice dinner, salads were amazing, and stuff was friendly.
Shrimp tempura was mushy inside and scallop sashimi is just one sliced into thirds. The udon is not the typical broth you would have but it is ok. Service was slow as well.

I have been trying to find the right words to explain how blown away I was by this whole experience. Every aspect of the takeout order was perfect. Takeout! I haven’t even had sushi this good while dining in bigger cities. Even the miso soup was delicious. Highly recommend any roll with lobster salad, anything spicy tuna and the kani salad. Will be back many times. Thoughtful, creative, and high quality.

Food was delicious. However, the service was not good at all. Was not provided any utensils after our food was given to us. Waited about 15-20 minutes for the waiter to come back and had to ask him for utensils. Not sure if he was just having a bad day, but waiter kept slamming everything down on our table. This was supposed to be a nice anniversary lunch, but the rude waiter ruined the experience for us. Food 10/10 | Service 0/10

It was 2+ hours with reservations. The one guy was running around doing everything. But food was good. It just took so long between everything. Even getting the check I had to get the guys attention. They seemed under staffed.

This place is always a great place to go to for some nice Japanese food. The wait staff are always nice, the atmosphere is always calm, and I have never had any issue with the food at all!
Very friendly and great hospitality. We ate early on a Friday evening and “out of season” for the area. It was not crowded but regardless, our service was wonderful. There was a couple there who must have been regulars as a couple staff members chatted with them. It was nice to see.Food presentation was beautiful. Sushi tasted very fresh and delicious. I had saké which was good, as saké is.There were a few hibachi tables, regular tables and sushi bar seating, along with a small bar.As someone else mentioned, it doesn’t look like much from the outside and as you walk through the joint corridor with another restaurant you wonder what the inside will look like BUT it is VERY clean inside. If we get back to the area, we will be back for another meal.
When I first moved to the Finger Lakes from NYC I was prepared to mourn the loss of good sushi. Itchiro has been a pleasant discovery! The fish is always fresh, tasty and well prepared. The service is great. The sushi and rolls are generally more impressive than the cooked food. The restaraunt is clean but not fancy and you can book a fun Hibachi show for four people or more. I am not sure if they have AC in the main dining room because it can get a bit stuffy in the summer time. The rest of the year, its fab.
