Great food great service. Four of us cost $71 with tax. We ordered 3 large platters that came with you choose of meat two side and corn bread. Then one small platter with one side and corn bread. And two empanadas. Food was delicious. The cabbage was so soft and flavorful with a bit of spice. Has to be my favorite side dish. The Spanish rice with beans was incredible. Mac and cheese was so cheesy and flavorful. It just melted in your mouth. The ribs were soft and fell off the bone. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy. The empanadas were good but I like green olives in mine as it adds extra salt. They were still crispy and delicious. Overall it was a great experience with amazing food and great customer service. Would love to see the owners open an actual sit down restaurant.Empanadas were two for $6Large Fried chicken platter $15Large rib platter $16Small rib platter $12Empanada platter $15Tax $7

The food seemed not fresh and had been sitting out. I really wanted to give this place a chance and it was not good. The Potato salad was disgusting with an overpowering ingredient. The service was okay and their prices were outrageously expensive for basic country food with small portions. The Ambiance was boring with no life to the name. I may or may not come back, prolly not come back look elsewhere please there's better. 2/5 Stars!

I stumbled upon Margarita's Latin Soul Food today, totally by surprise. My intentions were not to do any food reviews this weekend , but here we are.... so you know it has to be worth talking about! The words LATIN SOUL FOOD literally brought me to a screeching halt while attempting to walk to my destination. Two of my favorite cuisines in one place, how could I pass this up. Needless to say, I couldn't, so I didn't. I want you to take a moment, close your eyes, and think of all the amazing flavor profiles that come to mind when you hear "Latin-Soul Food." If your mouth began salivating at just the thought, then I recommend you try out Margarita's Latin Soul Food! This food was so flavorful, so succulent, and so filling. After my first bite, I literally looked over at my husband and simply said, "Wow!" I ordered the pulled pork, and dare I say, it was by far one of the best pulled pork dishes I have ever eaten! Seasoned to perfection, very tender and not dry. There was no need to add any sauce it was truly perfect as is. The yams... my goodness, those yams by themselves could define how soul food makes you feel, so good! My husband ordered the stewed chicken, phenomenal! Tender, bursting with flavor, melt in your mouth chicken breast, this dish is definitely a must try! My 11 yr old daughter ordered a fried chicken platter while my twins both chose a kids' meal. All of them truly enjoyed their food. This eatery is family operated. Mom is the brilliant & kind chef behind these delicious entrées. She was kind enough to share with me that the restaurant is named after her mother, Margarita. She was born and raised in Chicago. The fusion of Latin & Soul food comes into play with her being of Latin ethnicity and her husband being Black- American. The customer service was superb!!! The food was remarkable!!! The cost AMAZING!!! (5 entrées, 5 drinks, 2 empanadas & 1 dessert $65) If you're ever in the Waterloo, NY area, you absolutely should not hesitate to dine at Margarita's Latin Soul Food.

My wife is very hard to please. But everything that I ordered was so amazing. Fried chicken, baked Mac and Cheese, Ribs, corn bread and so on. This place is where you become regulars. Plus the owner sent me the menu via text. Great job.

Been here a couple of times. Food was fresh and hot. Empanadas were very good. Definitely recommend the Buffalo empanadas. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Only 2 places in this food court. Don't waste your time with the other one.

I have been working at the mall for a little over 6 months as my first job. A little over 3 weeks in I have been recommended to visit for a quick lunch by a co-worker. 5 months later, (and when I have the chance) I visit, at least on Saturdays. The customer service is unbelievable (and rather unbeatable). I adore the staff there. They are kind every time I took a visit on lunch. The food is something I never thought was possible, because its amazing! They have such variety and I have tried a little of everything (I think) and none lets me down. by far the best place to visit when grabbing something to eat. and nothing will stop me from going there at least once a month. See you next time I'm out on lunch Margarita’s!!

Great food! I brought my relative and she thought it was fabulous!!! We can't wait to come back. She's leaving for FL tomorrow; however, will return in May. She said we will eventually - our goal someday, is to have tried all items on the menu ?

this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. the staff and owner are so sweet and their energy and kindness made the whole experience so amazing. I definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for some nice food for the heart. (the yams and empanadas are to die for).please have an amazing holiday season and I hope you can open more locations in the future! ??

What a hidden gem!! Absolutely loved everything from the drinks to the food to the service. The pairings are unique and extremely delicious (try the Al Medallion mussels and Al Verde cocktail!!) the prices are super reasonable and we can't wait to go back and try more!

YOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Honestly some of the best food around. PERIOD. The frustrating thing about it is that it is so good, you want to eat way too much, and it's hard to stop, but literally everything on the menu is phenomenal, and the service is exceptional!!!

It was fairly empty on the night of Dia de los Muertos which fell on a Wednesday. Our waitress didn't know of the specials or how some dishes were prepared. Our drinks were great. The guac was great. The lamb tostada was delicious with a bit of a kick but messy to eat because it got soggy. The salmon tacos were lacking some flavor. The chicken tacos ended up having a kick but not that moist either. The ambience was a little off and very dimly lit. The chairs seem eclectic and the location is interesting but least of my concerns.
