We heard about this place from another guest at our hotel and got the last available reservation this week. The food was absolutely on point. We regretted visiting so many wineries because a dozen different wines would have paired with dinner. Melissa was so attentive and made the experience fun and relaxing. You have to eat here if you are visiting FLX.

I was served scallops on bread after ordering a GLUTEN FREE MEAL and being reassured by the SERVER that it was GLUTEN FREE. They then decided to charge me FULL PRICE after saying they would take money off of the bill. REAL GREAT RESTAURANT- NOT đ

BEST restaurant in the Lake Seneca/Lake Cayuga area. From the atmosphere to the servers, just a wonderful experience. And the food is just so good. The rack of lamb is superb!
My wife and I were traveling to the Finger Lakes from Philadelphia and decided to dine out as it was too late to cook. I had read how Ports Cafe was the highest rated in TripAdvisor but felt the selections were rather light on the website's menu. I also thought the place seemed rather small when viewed from the road
However, once we entered I understood why it was so highly rated. The atmosphere was quiet with just the right level of lighting to make it feel intimate, but not dark. There were two menus. One with the standard offerings and the other, which was a full menu of specials from appetizers to desserts. I was also impressed with the wine list.
The mocktails were delicious, and the food was amazing. We had the calamari starter and my wife had the flank steak and scallops while I had the swordfish. We ended by splitting the salted caramel cheesecake.
One of the most pleasing aspects were the portion sizes. The entrees were just the right size- not too small, but also not so much that you were stuffed.
The service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable and made some great recommendations.
My wife and I immediately told our other friends who visit the FingerLakes from time to time. I highly recommend making a reservation and dining there.
