Wines are good staff needs a reset. We walked to a grumpy staff right before 11 am. for a scheduled tasting and chocolate pairing. Hostess without a welcome or a smile, i smiled and said hello to her, and told her we had an appointment. There was one other couple in the entire place, but this didn't stop our server from behaving like he was stressed out and in the weeds setting up our tasting... 3 chocolates. When another group of 4 women came in, he was visibly upset and complained to the other female server across the room that she better not give them to him. The female server replied that he would do a better job with them. When the hostess placed the women in a spot at the bar, she said the male sever would be right with them, and he reacted negatively to this. Mind you, it was only my daughter and myself. He poured the first 2 tastings and then got busy with the larger group and disappeared from taking care of us while we stood with empty glasses. He then asked the female server to serve us the rest of our tastings, and we never saw him again. The female server poured the rest of our wines but was shy and barely said anything to us about the pairings. I'm left very disappointed, and I felt no need to buy any of their wine arsed experience.
Absolutely loved this winery! Owen helped us and had one of the best tasting experiences. The wine was very reasonably priced and excellent in quality. Highly recommend!
By far the best of NY wines....heck of any wines. LOVE LOVE LOVE Ravines. Spend the money, enjoy the wine... it is worth every penny. If you dare, treat yourself to one of their Estate wines. Meritage (now Maximillian) is superb. Thank you for spending decades cultivating and creating :).
Perfect for those who love drier wines! Great selection and friendly staff.
The staff were very nice. The wines here are all dry so if your not a dry fan i would pass on this unless you want to see a great barn vineyard
We walked in on a busy holiday about 90 minutes to close. No reservation. Beautiful setting!! We were able to do a tasting and Paula was gracious to offer a flatbread pizza from the kitchen even thought the kitchen was closing. We spoke to many staff and joined the Club to receive shipping of wine 4 times a year! Excellent Cabernet Franc 2022. Thank you all for accommodating us on a very busy day!
Delicious wine and beautiful venue. Reservation recommended for a tasting.
Great service. Stunning wine. Barn converted into an excellent tasting experience. Thank you Denzel. Knowledgeable, talented young man. We will be back!
The wines are spectacular, definitely worth 5 stars, but this review is about the tasting room service. I recently booked the Barn Table tasting option instead of the regular tasting, and I was rather disappointed to learn that the extra cost of the Barn Table option did NOT include food. It is literally a higher price just for the privilege of sitting at a table where you can order some snacks, but you still have to pay more for those snacks. The table service was also rather poor. Save yourselves the extra $5/person and get snacks elsewhere.
Based on the response from the owner, I'm even more disappointed. We received a flight of 4 wines, not 6. Ok, counting the "complimentary" pour at the beginning, it was 5. Still not 6. My server did not talk about the wines with us, and I have no idea what the parmesan tasting pastries are all about because we did not receive any. She didn't even bring us water.
Wine was excellent. Service with Denzel phenomenal. Will be back soon !!!

Wines were good and the small plates were excellent. A few cute donkeys in the field behind the winery.
My wife and I traveled to the Finger Lakes for the first time to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. One of our stops was Ravines; which became the highlight of the trip!! Immediately we loved everything about it; the grounds and barn were stunning. We started our tasting with Denzel who was so much fun and knowledgeable. After the first two samples everyone's phone started buzzing with weather alerts which included possible severe storms/tornado warning. We were unable to secure an Uber to pick us up so staff informed us that they were going to close/secure the barn and move everyone to the basement(barrel room). I can't think of a better spot to shelter in place during a storm than the barrel room of a winery.
As the storm passed over head we were treated to samples of different wines, a Q&A with the head wine maker and a tour. The staff could not have been more accommodating during this whole time. After the storm had passed we moved back upstairs and finished our tasting with Denzel and Amy. We loved and enjoyed our time at Ravines. It is a must do during any trip to the Finger Lakes. Thank you to Denzel and the rest of the staff for a great and memorable experience!!
Awesome! Great staff and wines! Beautiful views, location is fantastic. Highly recommend
The wine and winery were all as the previous reviews reflect in a beautiful 200 y o barn and high quality wine as well as great food. The experience was of the highest quality.
My only ding was to see the grapes being treated with a most probable fungicide (spraying) while I was enjoying my bottle outside.
A definitely heavy lift to have a working farm coupled with a tasting/public space. I know the health of the vines drive this endeavor but spraying over the 4th of July weekend should be probably delayed in the future….
The most beautiful winery! The staff working was incredible. They were so accommodating and kind. They made sure we were comfortable and that we had the best experience. 10/10 highly recommend! Also the donkeys are absolutely adorable.
