Here was the best spot to me for wings, beer and Monday night football while I was working for my MS, PhD and Post-Doc at UB during 1982 thru 1990. After then, I have moved around the world for different jobs, and never got a chance to be back to visit. Still remember the best service of Joan.
The wings used to be some of the best in Buffalo and somehow they lost it. Wings are never crispy now and if you get anything Cajun it’s just burnt. I hope they return to glory soon
We went to Elmos last week to check out the double dipped wings. We live close to Elmis but for no reason in particular hadn't been there for years. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Once seated the waitress came immediately over to get drink orders. We asked for guidance on sauces to combine and we were advised that hot sauce and barbecue or Cajun and honey mustard so we went with a 30 wing order with half/half of each.
