Darn good cider.
This place is great! We had friend, family, kids, and dogs and everyone had a wonderful afternoon. They have an excellent selection of ciders, local beers, and NY wines - including two frozen drinks! There is a lot of seating, indoor and out. It was easy to work around the heat of the day, and enjoy the outdoors, music, drinks, and atmosphere from anywhere. I was very impressed, thanks for a fantastic day.

Rockland Cidery hosted a 40th surprise party for us and it couldn't have been better! Very accommodating, Elizabeth was very helpful and easy to communicate with! We highly recommend rockland cidery for a special event or an afternoon out!

I visited Rockland Cider Works as an event space, when I was checking out a nearby wedding venue in Roxbury, NY. I had been in email and phone communication with Elisabeth, the owner, prior—and from the very start, she was incredibly kind, passionate about her farm and cidery, and really accommodating.
When I met her in person, she had great energy, and showed me, my partner, and family around her place. It really comes alive with the live music, and she’s created a super fun vibe with the local draft ciders, seasonal decor, lawn games, and food trucks. The dry and currant flavored ciders were particularly delicious and we would definitely be back to hang out again (with another cider flight)!
I can’t wait to see her vision for the newly created event space—we got a brief tour of it, and it’s sure to be a great additional spot for larger, indoor events!
Thank you Elisabeth, for making my family's visit so memorable. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area! :)

They offer snacks so of the time and food truck offerings sort of vary but the cider is good, the live music is regularly pretty great, the people are lovely, the employees, are awesome, and the atmosphere is actually incredibly welcoming!

We held a pre-wedding party there on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon. The venue was perfect: beautiful country setting, large lawn where the kids played, covered eating and dancing area, and a live band! Elisabeth, the owner, set up a roped off tent area for our party of 70 with tablecloths and fresh-cut flowers. She was a pleasure to work with during the planning process and even provided wristbands for our guests so we could easily run a tab at the bar and the two food trucks on the premises. The cider and drinks were a hit. It was a great party at a wonderful venue.
Vegetarian options: The food trucks had vegetarian and vegan offerings.
Kid-friendliness: Big lawn with lots of games.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat grounds, no stairs.

I didn't eat any food but the dumpling wagon was there and my group ordered a lot to eat there and extra to take home!I love all things hard cider so this place was perfect for me. It's so delicious and there's something special about being on tap!My friend's duo was playing a gig there on a beautiful summer day. It is breathtaking! I love how many music groups they have! Support live local music! My first time there I didn't know they were dog friendly. My boy would've had a great time! I'll bring him next time for sure!I live in Oneonta. It was a 30-40 minute drive and a beautiful drive. Well worth the trip. It's a casual, comfortable place.Should I mention the porta potties??? Impeccably clean. I've never seen a porta potty so clean and no odor. Hand washing station also very clean. It was great not having to leave the music outside to use the bathroom inside.Take the short trip for a great time. You won't be disappointed!

Music was good. It was my first time going. It is winter, and they have heaters. It was a tad chilly, though . It did not seem to have enough seating. Hard cider was awesome, and there was a food truck.
