Owned by the same owner as Wild Goose, the food is equally as good. Wild Goose has a vibe that is all about a cocktail scene, while Heirloom tavern is about being able to enjoy a wonderful meal and hear your friends conversation. A real gem that more people should know about!

I don't leave reviews too often but I must say heirloom tavern deserves all the positive reviews. At first glance it may seem a bit stuffy but the environment quickly becomes romantic and inviting once you settle in. I got the duck quesadilla as an appetizer which was very tender and fresh. It was delicious. As my main I got the horseradish crusted salmon with mushroom risotto and kimchee zucchini. It was honestly a 10/10 meal and I do not say that often. The kimchee zucchini was incredible, the mushroom risotto was prepared perfectly and the salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection. The dish came out hot and steaming but still a great temperature to eat. My date got the French dip sandwich with the truffle fries and I tried the fries which were also fantastic. Fries are easily an overlooked side at most establishments but these fries definitely stand alone perfectly. The fries were well seasoned, crispy, fresh, definitely not frozen and the seasoning ea perfect and not too salty. My date complimented the French dip sandwich and said it was easily one of the best he's ever had. We shared the beignets for dessert which were fluffy and warm and the ice cream was also light and not overly sweet. Delicious. I tried the lychee sangria which was interesting in a good way and my date got the Scottish alp beer which was light and oaky and very pleasant. He also got the new old fashioned which is not my typical drink so I passed on that but he enjoyed it and mentioned it was very elevated and I got the espresso as well which was delicious. Overall a great experience and I cannot wait to return.

The Heirloom Tavern is one of our go to places to get a consistently good dinner at a reasonable price. We took our daughter and her friend and we all enjoyed our dinner and drinks. The girls tried the non alcoholic Guinness and Sparkling Rose drinks because they both had to work in the morning and they were delicious! The filet mignon sliders, burger, and French Dip are 3 of our favorites and my husband enjoyed the salmon. The staff are all very friendly and eager to please. We recommend The Heirloom to everyone who enjoys good food in a friendly atmosphere.

What a wonderful small business in Glen Head. We must support independent restaurants if we don't want to eat in places where we put "A" or "An" in front of the name, like " an" IHOP or "a" Fridays. *shudder* Anyway, that took a dark turn. heirloom Tavern has plenty of parking, does a lovely birthday tribute if you have a special day in your party, the food is visually appetizing and tastes as good as it looks. Enjoy!

What a gem!!!!! Stopped by for a quick lunch with a friend and we could not have been more surprised with the delicious, high-quality and well priced food. My friend had chicken wings we were at the bar) and said they were amazing - crispy fried delights! I had the lobster bisque which was completely on point. Then my friend had the beet salad (which looked delicious and obviously was as not one morsel remained.) I had a special- which came in two sizes appetizer or main course. Having chosen the appetizer size I was immediately disappointed after my first bite, as I wished that I had gotten the main course size. Honestly, it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Sea scallops with crispy gnocchi over a cauliflower puree. The sautéed spinach came with roasted garlic and a small amount of carmelized shallots. Will definitely go back.

We were four. We had four appetizers and four entrees that we all considered excellent. Apps: Scotch Egg, Clams Oreganata, Arugula & Serrano Ham Salad and the special Winter Salad. All entrees were equally enjoyed by the four of us. We had the special Blackened Mahi Mahi, Blackened Salmon, fall off the bone BBQ Baby Back Ribs (sauce on the side) and Tuna Tataki. Didn't have room for the delicious desserts available, but the usual great meal at The Heirloom or Brass Rail or The Wild Goose or even Choppers for great, fresh, daily chopped burgers, gourmet sandwiches and fresh chicken wings. Great spot for a good lunch.

The food was prepared perfectly. Ambiance is lovely. Service attentive. Our reservation was made for 5 and we had the restaurant almost by ourselves. By the end of dining, the room was very crowded. I can see the appeal.

Heirloom Tavern remains one of our faves. We were there for dinner on New Year's Eve. Despite being busy, our reservation was honored right on time - staff was warm and friendly, food was beautifully prepared and delicious and service was spot on. Lots of choices as well. Never disappoints - highly recommend.

The place is a bit small, but sort of expected from a Tavern. Bar area was a bit tight, but appealing. The food was stunningly good. I mean, I really was impressed. I had the pork chop with mashed and mushrooms. Top notch. My wife got the halibut and it was perfectly cooked with a very nice crust. The service was nice and attentive, but the waiter was so short handed that it made me feel so bad for this poor person hustling on a busy Thursday night. Overall this place is worth a visit.

Too noisy , tight place . Feel like sardines in a tin. . Service not that good. Prices lil high . Maybe I'll try again. Idk .

I had a rare chance to take my 8yo out for brunch just the two of us before a show at the Tilles Center, so I researched carefully. I saw that this had high star ratings and the menu looked good so I went with it. Maybe the good reviews were for lunch and dinner - this was definitely not a good brunch spot. I got crab cake eggs Benedict. The crab cakes were small thin slivers that I couldn't even taste under the egg. It was more like a topping. Not substantial at all despite paying $25. I've had this entree at restaurants before and never had such minimal crab. My daughter got apple pie stuffed French toast. It came topped with strawberries strangely, so I cut into it for her to make sure she got the right thing. Waaaay inside there were tiny diced cubes of apples. The French toast itself was dry, and it had almost no filling. My daughter was so bummed that it just tasted like dry regular French toast, and I was disappointed that I'd spend $17 on that. The only good thing was the sausage and bacon which I ate off her plate because she didn't want them. I can't believe I spent over $50 for the two of us for this food. ?
