Food has always been fresh and delicious and prices are reasonable compared to many Japanese/Asian fusion restaurants on LI. We travel from the south shore to go there. Always worth the trip.

I ordered Soba noodles with seafood in hot broth but they provided it with ramen noodles. I then called the staff and they insisted that this is Soba noodles. As a person who lived in Japan for 8 years and frequented Soba noodle restaurants, I can clearly identify which is Soba noodles or Ramen noodles or Udon noodles. So, I donot recommend anyone visiting Kiraku restaurant to order soba noodles.

Kiraku is our go to weekly Japanese. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious. They are also great about special requests. Highly recommend!

From the warm atmosphere to the friendly service, this place feels instantly welcoming. The food is always delicious and served quickly, and the drinks did not disappoint. We’ve already been back a few times, and this cozy spot has easily become our go-to whenever we’re in the area.

Got the duck spring roll for lunch and the duck had HUGE bone in it in multiple chunks of meat. I bit into it. Be careful

My son and I are so happy to have discovered this gem in Glen Head!! We’ve now eaten here twice and will certainly be back soon. Beautiful restaurant and deliciously fresh food. My son and I love Japanese food and this restaurant made us feel like we were dining in Shibuya…decor, service, sushi chefs and the food made us feel like we were back dining in Tokyo! They even have authentic Japanese style tables (we will make sure to wear socks so we may try this next time LOL). We got the sushi for two and every item was fresh and tasty. The miso soup is great. The tri color sushi amazing. I tried a Tokyo Roll this time and it was fantastic. Loved all the flavors going on there. We ate so much this time we could not fit dessert in and that is a shame because during our first visit here my son got the fried ice cream and I got the fried bananas and they were super!! Next time we have to save a little room for dessert. Service was also fantastic, with each person we encountered treating us like a family member, it was a truly wonderful experience.
