We picked up food from Flavor of India for a group of 15 people and oh my...! The new mgt was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious. My standouts were the chicken tikka, saag paneer, and allll of the nan. I look forward to dining in restaurant and will order from here repeatedly.

I was given old dirty food at this place! The food was contaminated. If you don't want to die of food poisioning do not buy from this location.

I would like to write this so that no other customer gets food poisoned like I did. I purchased butter chicken, goat curry and goat biryani from this spot earlier this week for lunch. I noticed the food was all sitting out and not heated. It all looked as if it was the previous days food. When I brought the food home and started eating it tasted funky and old, but the spices covered it up and within hours after eating this food my belly started to bloat and started to belch. I ended up with severe diarrhea / vomiting for almost 1 week and was unable to leave the house or go to work. I was in and out of the bathroom every 2 hours having severe liquid diarrhea. I could not drink any fluids or eat any food without having constant diarrhea. I ended up on antibiotics which also did not help, and doctors finally told me to follow a specific diet and take Imodium. I filed a complaint with the city and the health department. As soon as the complaint was filed with the city health department that information was leaked to the restaurant to prepare for an inspection. They immediately replaced all old food and clean the whole place to standards. So a covered up inspection will be done by an inspector to give them an ”A” rating. If anyone else got poisoned from this place please contact the health department at 646-632-6103. Further written complaints to go to NY State to see how information was leaked out to the restaurant regarding an upcoming inspection and who the inspector responsible for the inspection of this restaurant is. Beware of this restaurant and feeding people contaminated old food!

The WORSE food an absolute disappointment!!Not the original Flavor of India-The new owners need to remove these pics and place ones that represents the poor quality food. They tried to substitute chicken shish kebab for ginger chicken.

Called for a pickup and when I got there the lady said she didn't write the order down and ignored it. Then she tried to literally microwave some food and hand me some old leftovers...
Last Night we ordered some food. At last we asked any veg menu . The man who received the call told us that he does not know the menu .Actually we came from Maryland in New york for visiting Niagara Falls and being an Asian we have an immense desire to have an Indian Food. Again we ordered the food and we asked the total price and he told us that he couldn’t tell us the total price and he caught up the phone .I have never seen such type of bad customer service in my life.The way he talked to me and his behavior is so rude.

This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. when I feel like having a decent lunchon, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. superb and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.well mannered team, and agreeable atmosphere. Not less important, the pay is fair. I recommend this spot with great pleasure.
