The cart used to be known for giving great portion sizes. Now the portion sizes they give do not even satisfy the 5 dollars they used to sell their chicken over rice for. The Arab man, while nice, comes off as very unfriendly, unwelcome, and rude. There is also another guy who kept instigating when I asked if there was even any pita bread in my combo (there barely was) and kept instigating and almost took 4 dollars in change without giving it back to even give me the chance to tip. I used to love the cart, but the new people ruined it. Will not come back to it.

This review pains me to write. I love Hamza and Madina. They were the best halal cart in a 10 mile radius of me. No. 100 mile radius of me. But over the past year or so, the quality of food and service has declined. The last time I went was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I could not believe my ears when the man behind the cart said I need to pay eight dollars for an empty tray. Why? I tried to bargain with him saying there’s no food in it. Why is it eight dollars? He got angry at me and sent me on my way. This is not the same Hamza and Madina I knew before. This was purely dishonest and scamming behavior. I wouldn’t have even been that mad if he said it was a dollar. I can understand that I guess. I used to be friendly with the old guys behind the cart because they would always hook me up with that gas. These new guys are running the cart into the ground Again this review pains me to write, but I can’t stand this anymore. Bring back the old Hamza and Madine that I know and love ?. Next time I go, I’m going to ask for another empty tray and if they give it to me for a dollar (or less) I’ll take down this review because I truly love this business.

This cart is horrible to their customers, coming from the “Owner”… who seems to be working here full time..
My best-bud came here and got robbed of his money, and was overcharged. Unbelievable!
The owner lacks basic courtesy and professionalism. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. Save yourself the frustration and find another place to eat, there’s many other carts down the block.
If I could rate this cart a 0, God help me I would! AVOID COMING HERE!
Terrible customer service! The staff at this halal cart were incredibly rude and disrespectful. Not only did they mess up my order, but they also refused to acknowledge their mistake or offer any kind of apology. Definitely won't be returning here.

Absolutely delicious. By far my favorite Halal stand in all of New York City. They make the best food in my opinion. I just wish they delivered, I spend an hour and a half taking taking two buses just to eat here. But it is worth it, they never disappoint.

Pathetic customer service given by one the spanish guy. I didnt have enough change so I brought some change of quaters. He gave me such a nasty attitude. I been getting food from them from years & this never happened have some sense of how to treat your customers. Charged me extra $4 dollars also for no reason. I realized when I came home to count how much I gave home.
