We order three things
1 salchipapa. I rate it a 6 out of 10. Some of the fries were uncooked.
2 Encebollado was horrible. The tostado tasted like it was saved from months ago , and the fish tasted like a piece of cardboard. The Yuca tasted like it was also saved from weeks ago, really bad
3. The only thing that saved our lunch meal was the picada de mariscos

We came for breakfast. My partner got a whole fish for breakfast, which was a Choice, but the food was very nice.

Wonderful flavors, great vibes and the music had me dancing while eating. Looking forward to karaoke later on. The only reason I took one start is because the non alcoholic drink price was above average but otherwise I recommend it, I know that most people do love drinking alcohol, you will likely love the experience.

The presentation of the food was horrible. Empanadas were the size of a nickel. Prices don’t match the foods quality at all. Plates weren’t given with appetizers. Don’t ever come back here again.

I had an encebollado de pescado, and I wanted to love it, tbh but it tasted like it was watered down. I had to add lots of salt and pepper and more lime . The lime order was a thin slice, like charge me if u have to, but that plate needed help then the taste of the fish was a bit wierd like if it were becoming spoiled and they gave me few drenched in oil chiflez and it's to dark in there like make it look classy give me some light

I’ve been to many Ecuadorian restaurants and I must say that this is by far the best one I’ve been to in NYC. Not only is the food delicious, the restaurant is also beautifully decorated. The salchipapa and encebollados are a must-try! Nice place to celebrate a birthday.

My family and I have tried so many Ecuadorian restaurants and different dishes in the area and it truly is hard to find one that is really tasty, authentic and fresh. When you go out to eat, you expect to spend your money on something that is worth it, and this is definitely it! The atmosphere is really nice and gives a good nod to Ecuador with their decor, the music was very enjoyable and true national tunes. We got tried several things on their menu, which there was some really nice selections. We got the Quaker to drink, quimbolitos, empanada de verde, caldo de bola and encebollado mixto. Every single thing we ordered was so DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Freshness is definitely their priority and whoever prepared the food had great skill and knowledge of what true Ecuadorian food should taste like and how it is made. I have tried so many quimbolitos at so so many different places as it is one of my favorite things to eat, sometimes they are dry, flavorless, tasting old… but these had tons of flavor and were moist and yummy. I only wish they were bigger! (They were about medium size for 5$) As with the quimbolitos, I absolutely love caldo de bola as well and have tried it at so many places over the years, this had to be truly my favorite bowl I’ve ever had. You can tell the empanada de verde was cooked fresh to order and for me that is very important, some places really will just give you some that are reheated so for me this was a big plus. The service was good and friendly as well. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to add a great Ecuadorian restaurant to their list of favorite places to eat! It’s surely on ours now! So happy we discovered and gave them a shot!

I am Ecuadorian and was glad to see this place open in my neighborhood! The staff was very friendly and welcoming to my family with small children. The food was very good and the prices are great as well. Looking forward to trying different things on the menu!
