This place is truly a relic (in the best way possible). It still has that old charm that is honestly being lost in New York today, with old wood paneling and bars all throughout, plenty of seating, and many nooks and crannies to hang out with your friends. Everything is extremely well priced. Although the crowd is definitely older, I would highly recommend for a nice night with some friends as we did not feel out of place
Yer Man’s Irish Pub, formerly known as Cooper’s Ale House, is more than just a bar—it’s a living piece of Glendale history. Longtime locals remember it as the kind of neighborhood spot where the wings were hot, the Guinness was cold, and the conversation never ran dry. And if the place looks familiar, it’s probably because it served as the inspiration for Doug Heffernan’s hangout in The King of Queens, which first aired in 1998. That alone cements it as a Queens landmark.

Here’s some tea and fan fact are you all aware this is the coopers bar from the king of queens show! I have t been there since its name change and decor change but I’m going to see if I like it or miss the original coopers
