Last night we played trivia and we had a new waitress named Abby. I want to give a shout out to Abby and Romo’s management for hiring her. She is amazing! I wanted to tell management in person but it’s busy on a trivia night. Abby was so friendly and attentive. She checked backed in with us several times during the night. She’s got a great personality and she knows how to manage her guests. Thanks Abby! You’re the best!

Saw the great review this place got on Barstool and ordered a pie. It was nothing close to what was shown in the video. Bait and switch.

Nail in the coffin was the garlic knots that didn’t have garlic on them. They are called garlic knots, not garlic powder knots. How cheap of a place do you gotta run that you can’t put real garlic on them?

Being that I hardly get to NY anymore, I was looking forward to some good old NY pizza. I have to be honest, the pizza was very disappointing. I was surprised that despite it being lunch time all of the slice pies looked old and dry like they'd been sitting out from the night before. My first instinct was to leave but I didn't have time to go somewhere else before heading out to the airport. Being frank, the pizza has no redeeming qualities. I don't like writing reviews like this but I felt like I was eating leftover pizza. Maybe it was an off day.

This is all the pasta i got in my $25 dollar chicken dinner. This is honestly just disappointing that you spend that much money to get such little amount of pasta. This was my boyfriend’s pasta, the comparison is absurd. You guys really gotta do better at checking whats coming out the kitchen. We also had a “4oz vodka sauce” added and that didnt come. The pasta is dry as well.

Found this place on utube about award winning pizza. Arrived at 1130 and was told speciality pizzas you can only get after 4pm as well as other items on their menu. Was planning to do take dinners for our first night traveling on vacation. We had a slice of sausage pizza. It was nothing to rave about as well as the sauce. Dough had no smell to it. Shame we were excited to eat here

So the guy who owns this place is obviously a pizza genius. How many guys can make multiple styles of pizza under one roof and be successful at it? Not many. Their New Haven style in particular is fantastic.

However I’m only giving them 4 stars because of the bizarre stuff they do with their hours, etc.

So the restaurant website I believe says they’re open during the week at 4 pm. But Google has them open all day and apparently they are, but not for full table service, ie, you can order at the counter and there’s no full table service and no alcohol served until
4pm.

Then they tell me at the counter that I can’t order a New Haven pie during the afternoon unless I want to wait an hour for their ovens to heat up.

Give me a break.

You’re either open or you’re not - if you’re open, don’t tell me you can’t make the pie that you’re famous for ….

Instead, I was offered a basic “Romo style” pie, which was not memorable and certainly not worth going out of the way for…..what a disappointment

They put that fake chicken tenders on the pizzas.

They keep you on hold when you call in. Took 40 minutes to cook an order of wings.

Ordered pick up and they messed up order but didn’t realize until we got home they put olives and pineapple on our pepperoni pizza.
