Hate to leave this review because the food was excellent. I was mistakenly charged $85 for a $25 purchase (I bought a chicken combo and hamburger, both delicious). When I called the restaurant to bring this to their attention, they found my receipt, acknowledged the mistake, and told me the restaurant owner would call me asap. They never called me. So I was forced to submit a claim through my bank, which was for some reason denied. Extremely disappointing considering that their mistake was acknowledged and never followed up. Charging an extra $60 is unacceptable and should have been attended to immediately. Extremely unprofessional, I would have loved to come back. The fries and chicken are killer though.

Unique soul food, to my knowledge the only place to get ox tails in Fulton or Montgomery counties. We had fried chicken and haddock and ox tails and Mac and cheese, rice and collard greens, all were well prepared and delicious. Stop in, you won't be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable

I really want to like this place ordered the fried fish. This should have been the star of the meal. It was fried to death. It was dry, hard and wasn’t made fresh like it was sitting for hours. I’m really sad about that was really looking forward to a great piece of fried fish. The collards were delicious and the Mac and cheese was good. Food quality should never drop even if it’s towards the end of the day. I I will try again because I love to dine local at Lil mom and pop restaurants. I just really hope it is better the second time around.

Reasonably priced good home cooked food. The fried chicken was better than KFC. Takeout only at this time. Limited hours and no drinks.

I love that this place has food that tastes like home. You can really tell that the cooking came from a place of passion
I'm a little mixed about this place. The guy working there was very pleasant and the food came out quickly. I ordered fried fish with collard greens and mac&cheese, and a chicken quesadilla with rice. Prices are fair and portions are decent. The fish and quesadilla were both good, but the sides were a bit disappointing. The mac&cheese was super wet, like oddly wet. The pasta was too overcooked and soft. The flavor was good though. The collard greens were a little too tangy and salty for me, but they weren't bad. I would go back for the quesadilla, and maybe try something else on the menu. I'll do an update on my 2nd visit.
the best soul food a.gloves on hands down
