I’ve been coming here since 2019, and there is truly no other café like this in Orange County. I've been exploring local coffee shops around the country for years and Cafe Yen remains a favorite. As the only place serving specialty-grade coffee with scratch-made pastries, it stands out as the best place in Goshen for breakfast and lunch. Grady, the owner, puts incredible care into creating a menu that is both creative and consistent. Personal favs: vanilla bean latte with vanilla bean paste and no fake syrups, avocado toast on fresh sourdough, and the loaded breakfast burrito which is so flavorful and satisfying. If you're in Goshen and you aren't going here, you are missing out! Best cafe ever ❤️

Waited 30minutes for 2 coffees and a tea. Attitude of staff was terrible. Also ordered food which came out before the drinks but no one told us it was out. $12 for a single piece of toast with avocado. Not good. Would not come back.

Loved this coffee shop the most in Goshen! Coffee quality was like Manhattan and the vibes like Malibu California! Loved how there was plenty of seating inside and out and the service and friendliness of the people is unmatched! Wish we stayed longer but was leaving to head home on our last day upstate! Definitely will be back and recommend everyone here.

Great hidden gem in Goshen, glad we found it as the homemade focaccia sandwiches are delicious and really good quality. My two kids cleaned their plates and loved the sweet citrusy freshly squeezed orange juice. The coffee was really really good too. Would highly recommend a visit to this place for lunch or brunch.

The food here was actually very good, which makes this review difficult to write. Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service was extremely disappointing. I was treated poorly from the moment I arrived, and the way I was spoken to and handled felt discriminatory and unacceptable.
Good food should be paired with respect and professionalism, and sadly, that was not the case here. No one should leave a cafe feeling disrespected or unwelcome, regardless of who they are. I truly hope management addresses this behavior so other customers don’t have to go through the same experience.
I wasn't expecting much to say the least, but what I did get was service with a smile, an excellent cup of coffee, and one incredible breakfast sandwich. Even if they are busy and you have to wait a little bit longer, the quality of the food will be worth the wait.
