Dobbins' Tavern at the Stagecoach Inn in Goshen, NY

Stagecoach Inn is more of a wedding venue destination than a hotel/bed & breakfast . The price fixed menu concept needs to be scraped or at the very least they should offer a seperate menu with individual choices. Food was average to poor. Also I've never experieced a family style dinner serving on a price fixed menu...... The rooms fire plce barely worked which was on on the selling points for us. The staff was very nice and accomadating. The experience was not worth the price.

We went to the Stagecoach Inn's monthly curated dinner event for October; the theme was a Harvest Dinner. We loved the Inn's atmosphere and ambience and the service was impeccable; everyone was courteous and helpful without being overbearing, checking in on us at just the right intervals. However, we found the food to be mediocre. The chicken pot pie and braised short ribs were both lacking in flavor, although the pot pie crust was excellent. The sides were likewise mixed in quality, with tge roast vegetables being the best. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will try the Stagecoach Inn again to give the food another chance.

Charming place to eat. Chicken pot pie needed some seasoning, but overall a great Autumn dinner series menu. Service was top notch. Cocktails on point.

I would not like to make a review as some of the problems should be addressed to the owners.

I had a wonderful 50th Bridgerton-themed birthday party, and The Atrium was the perfect venue for the occasion. The Atrium Room was absolutely lovely — filled with natural light, even on a cloudy day. The dinner was delicious, and the outdoor patio seating added a charming touch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the evening flow smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better setting locally to celebrate such a special milestone!

Early Father's Day dinner. Great service, delicious menu with good-sized portions. Plus, nice ambiance. One thing the fries need is improvement.

The oysters on the half shell were exceptional last night. Very fresh and plenty of oceanic liquor. The new drink cocktail menu was exciting and diverse. The steaks were very good! A perfect medium rare. Friendly and attentive staff as always.

Really great night out with the family. Great dinner while on vacation. Food was out of this world. Kids loved their meals too.

Always delicious meal, attentive servers, beautiful cozy atmosphere. We look forward to our next meal at Stagecoach Inn.

This was my second visit, and it’ll be my last.

From the moment we sat down, the experience fell short. The table was wobbly—noticeably so—and no one bothered to fix it. I had to fold up my napkin to level it myself. That’s a basic expectation at any restaurant, let alone one trying to pass as upscale.

The water was served warm. Not room temperature—warm. The ice in my soda melted instantly. That’s not just unpleasant, it’s lazy service.

Then came the short rib tacos, which were downright inedible. What looked like cheese on top was actually a massive glob of mayonnaise. One bite and my mouth was full of it—completely ruined my appetite. I asked the server, who first said it was chipotle mayo, then came back and said remoulade. Neither was listed on the menu. Whatever it was, it was excessive and didn’t belong on that dish.

To be fair, my wife enjoyed her pork chop. But one decent entrée doesn’t make up for a poorly executed meal and inattentive service.

This was the second time I’ve left here disappointed. The first visit underwhelmed, and this one sealed it. For the prices they charge, the quality just isn’t there—on the plate or in the experience.

Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The ambiance was great! The service was 5 star & the food was absolutely delicious!! We will certainly come back every time we are in Goshen!! One of the BEST restaurants we have ever been too

We dined at the Stagecoach for our anniversary. The staff made us feel like royalty! The food was amazing! We would recommend this place to anyone celebrating their special day!

Lovely people, lovely food. The inn is beautifully decorated and clean. The beds are a step above what you find in most hotels. The experience at a proper inn is so different from that of a hotel and here at the Stagecoach they have made the most of the format. Bravo! We will stay here again.
