We decided to give this small shop a try while in town based on Google reviews. We tried an Italian ice and several flavors of Gelato. The flavor for the ice was good; the Gelato, was not great. It was more on the icy side than creamy. The flavors were very mild and indistinguishable. There is limited seating, but plenty to accommodate the four of us.
Our server was friendly.

My daughter loves this ice cream place so much that she asked me to visit two days in a row! The homemade ice creams are simply delicious. You can really taste the passion the shop owners put into their products. We wanted to take some home, but the drive back to NYC was too long. Don't miss this shop if you're in the area!

We stayed at the Kartrite resort and planned to return to NYC the following day. The kids wanted some ice cream from a Goshen shop that we enjoyed when we went to Legoland, but I noticed they were closed. I was looking for a place that offered gluten-free options, so I researched and found Ice Capps. I called the number for Ice Capps, which had suitable ice cream options, but unfortunately, they would be closed when we were driving by on our way to New York. Colleen, the owner, asked me to call her when we were about a half-hour away. She said that if possible, she would come by to open up and serve us.
I initially felt guilty about calling her, but my 4-year-old was cranky during the drive home the following day. So, I took Colleen up on her offer and called her. She met me at the store a full hour before it was supposed to open and served me and my family. She was friendly and personable, and this customer service experience is something that I can't and won't forget. I will make Ice Capps a regular stop on my trips to the Goshen area. The ice cream and gelato were delicious, and I'm planning on bringing a cooler to get a lot of it back home next time.

They have great flavors that are very hard to find elsewhere (blueberry!). They even have adult flavors that have alcohol in them. We booked Ice Capps gelato truck to provide dessert at our wedding. We can't say enough amazing things about Colleen and her staff! The gelato was incredible and the boozy ices were a big hit. Colleen went above a beyond and also provided chocolate covered pretzels, brownies, cupcakes, coffee and tea. She even brought a extra pint of one of the ices for a guest of ours who has a lot of food allergies. Would highly recommend booking them for any events! They were so great to work with!
