GoWanda Brewing at The Wicked Glen

Unfortunately I hate writing bad reviews but this isn't the 1st time we had bad service we would give it another chance we sat down at a table waited about 10-12 before being waited on then we told the young blonde bartender working 10/10 around 10:30 pm we wanted to order food he told us fried foods only which we were okay with then we sat there for over 20 mins for him to come back and take our order he walked bye us twice and didn't say a word. I was a nice guy and paid for my beer I ordered and then walked out hungry and angry will NEVER BE BACK AGAIN

We had a bad experience tonight here. We waited about ten minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted a drink or a menu, while we waited EMS came in looking for someone with a cut leg, he was directed to the kitchen. We asked prior to ordering if he was near the raw foods, they said he was not, we then asked in advance if they had what we traveled there for, we were told yes, so we ordered, turns out the infact did not have it. Then my soda was all carbonated water and they said they ran out, theme of the night, So I got mine from the car with permission from the waitress. They still charged us for it, we asked about that and were told we could deduct the 4 bucks from the tip?? Bold. Thankfully Tyler was cooking, and he makes an awesome burger, and thanks to Josh for coming in with his secret knowledge of how to make the dip.

Excellent food, large portions, friendly staff, what do you need more; oh yes, nice selection of beers on tap!

Wow. What can I say, friendly and clean atmosphere with great drinks. The highlight though was the great service by a bubbly young lady behind the bar. She greeted my party with a bright smile that started our night with great vibes. The food was great, kitchen staff really did their thing. The bartenders were very responsive and were more than happy to serve everyone, not just including my group. I recommend this bar to everyone I meet. This place puts the Go in the Gowanda.

Me and a friend come in once in a while on Monday nights. Usually Brittney is there and she is awesome. Last night someone else was bartending, a younger girl, we had the worst experience I have ever had at a bar. We walk in to be greeted with an eye roll, the bartender did not introduce herself or ever attempt to make any conversation. The entire time we were there she stormed around the restaurant slamming things and cleaning the counter over and over again(almost like letting us know she wanted us to leave) Mind you we got there before 9 and they don’t close until ten. We then sat there for 20 minutes with empty drinks while she slammed things and stormed around cleaning things that were already cleaned.. she finally gets us our drinks and as she hands them to us says “are you ready to pay cause it’s last call” with a horrible attitude. We gave her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she had a rough day, we offered to get her a drink, instead of saying no thank you she responds, I dont drink and rolls her eyes. So we closed out and went on the patio to drink our drinks. She followed us outside and continued slamming things around. My friend had to use the bathroom and she FOLLOWED HER IN THERE to “clean” slamming things around and propped the door open while she was going to the bathroom, so incredibly rude. At 10:02 someone came outside and told us. “You have to wrap it up we’re closed” we didn’t even get the finish the drinks we had. I have never felt so unwanted and uncomfortable in a bar my entire life. I usually would never write a review, but it was really bad. I will not be returning unless I know Brittney is there.

Awesome food, bartenders were amazing. Very friendly atmosphere, love the whole vibe of the place. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Definitely will be a regular spot for us

We had lunch today first time here the service was excellent and the pizza and wings were great will definitely recommend!!!

The Glen has become a favorite spot, offering great food every time. Mackey's exceptional service makes each visit even more enjoyable!

Ordered a Fish Fry gave me a time for pick up I was there on time had to wait 10 extra minutes so that was FUN....we probably had like 10 fries and a table spoon of Mac salad the fish was OK but definitely not worth $18

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The beer is excellent, and they have a wide variety, including Old World styles. Their burgers are a hand formed patty, not the frozen kind. They also have gluten free buns and cider for those with gluten sensitivities. The staff is very friendly and it just has a great cozy, local vibe.

The worst service I’ve ever received at an establishment. The place was practically empty and our food took an hour and 45 minutes. Our waitress spent most of her time smoking or drinking with patrons at the old tables. She let us know the fryers were backed up because of the fish fry, but we ordered a pizza and burgers, not sure why the fryer would be involved. It was the poor bartender that was apologizing and delivering our food. She kept having to remind the waitress about us. Then the food finally came as we were about to get up and leave. I ordered a Pittsburgh salad with steak and was shocked and disappointed to see it wasn’t steak but crumbled steak ems. I got a box and won’t be eating it. Our waitress finally came back over and didn’t even apologize. We will never return.

My Beloved and l have been hitting up Wicked Glen on Tuesdays for the wing specials. We agree, W.G. can put their wings up against anybody wings. They are DEE-LISH-US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
