We stopped in for a late breakfast with some family who is local to the area and highly recommended Pine Grove. After experiencing for ourselves it’s easy to see why. The cozy log cabin atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast is worth writing home about! The pancakes and omelets are particularly delicious. The little bear and big bear breakfast specials also seem like a real steal for the price. What really sets the apart from other diners I’ve visited however is their well crafted smaller menu that still fits in all the lovable classics. If you’ve ever been to a mediocre dinner with an 8+ page menu full of frozen food you’ll know what I mean. Pine Grove truly puts those places to shame. The quality of their breakfast speaks for itself and as a patron, you can see and appreciate the care they put into the execution of the menu. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the area!Kid-friendliness: Has kids menu and child friendly food available.

The waitress Rachel is rude, and cannot get orders correct! When told there was hair in my food, she just said ok and walked away. If she does not feel you left enough of a tip she will chase you out the door for it. The other waitresses and staff are wonderful though.

i go in semi frequently but i had a slice of the rhubarb pie there....gosh.....must be a YEAR ago now. i still think about that pie sometimes. its 9:30pm on a wednesday and i'm fondly reminiscing about the pie i had a year ago. its the pie like your grandma makes and all the marks are wore off her measuring cup because she's been perfecting this pie since 1967 and she could do it blindfolded by now. delicious crust. the rhubarb pie alone is worth the visit-its the real deal genuine article. everything else is pretty good too.

Small place, big heart, yummy food.Hubby and I stopped in for a late lunch while running errands. There was probably 10 in the dining area total, seem to be one server and she was perfectly attentive.Parking: Small parking spots available, more within a short walk.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is NOT Wheelchair accessible.Short steps, plentiful handrails.

This diner was recommended by friends as a good place to stop at the start of my upstate New York trip. I ordered biscuits and gravy, with a side of eggs and bacon. It is a cute little place, not supper busy. But the food is not up to par for the usual diner fare. My eggs were undercooked, the bacon overcooked, and the gravy had very little flavor and almost no meat. The biscuits seemed flat, not fluffy. Coffee was good, and the server was OK, but she seemed preoccupied. I was here four years ago, and the meal was much better.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. Stairs inside doorway.

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Staff was wonderful.Food; not so good. Hash was crispy ,dried out. Scrambled eggs ordered with garlic.(almost that of a McDonald's egg sandwich egg) No garlic. The coffee was weak & lukewarm .Prices were high for the quality of the food IMHO.The waitress tried to make the order right, to no avail.Perhaps the cook was just having a bad day.
