Placed order over phone, got home had to call back because fried pickles were missing, sweet potato fries looked like a half order, loaded fries were hard barely any cheese or meat sauce on them, sausage and peppers were a sausage Patty with onions and peppers that were so black you couldn't tell what they were. So I asked if they were gonna compensate us for us having to drive back there the lady laughed at me, so I ask for the manager and she says she's the owner! Very poor customer service ! But no worries I'll never return.

Super cute, friendly, lots of options to eat in/out/even in car. Just wish the portions were a little bigger! 1 little filet in the fried fish basket, about a small handful of clams in the clams basket, and the burgers didn't look like 6 oz to me. But it was good, and cute, and fun.

The food is good, but everytime I order they forget part of our order. They do deliver to my house so I like that, but they forget the condiments too. Tonight my 81 year old Mother was visiting and order a side of gravy to go with her fires. It was forgotten. They offered to bring it after 3 deliveries which was too late. I'm done with them.

We got there and it is drive up,They do not pay attention to busy talking with there friends. So had to go to the window just to get a menu. Then they girl said she would be right over to take our order and that was 20 minute late. We'll then she finally came over and we ordered and she says we have call in order that come before people dinning in so wait to will be about 30 minutes before we get served. When we did finally get our food it was so burned you had to sent it back.Not a good place if you just want a place to dine.

We ordered food and drinks. We got our drinks but 45 minutes later we r still waiting on food. When I went to the window to find out the delay...our server looked at me in awe...not sure what happened but we NEVER got our food. There were 4 other cars there and 3 servers. A car pulled in next to us and they waited 15 minutes before they had to get out and find a server. They claimed they were busy. SMH. Offered me 50% off for next time. Not cool in a small town with not many food options. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed in the whole experience.
This place is a great stop on our drive from VT to NJ. Food is good, staff is nice and bathroom is clean.

The car hop has been a staple in Granville for generations. I hope it will be for generations more. You expect a level of pride and commitment from such an establishment. I have been here 3 time this year. The first time I was pleased with the timeliness of the waitress and the food delivery, could have to do with eating on the deck. The second time I drive and decided to take the food to go. The waitress was prompt, 45 minutes later she stops by to tell me my food was coming up. Add another 30 minutes and I got to leave with my food. So today I stop by. 20 minutes goes by and no service. I had to call and order my food to go from the parking lot. While I told the waitress I was in the parking lot, no one came to the car to see if I had been waited on. 20 minutes and the food came out. Not to bad.I am a very patient person. I have worked in the food industry and retail industry, customer service is what drives the business. The car hope is supposed to be a place to relax, get some good food. Can't relax if you waiting 30 plus minutes sweeting in your car to get some service. While I am not sure if I will stop by the car hop again, I hope that they improve their customer service.

Maybe it's because I'm from maine & have high expectations regarding seafood, but I was sadly disappointed to pay over 10 dollars for 6 shrimp & a small handful of fries. My son ordered a mcdaddy with mayo, mushrooms, tomato . He said it was tasteless & the only veggie was lettuce. He did go back & they gave him veggies on the side He ordered a 4 dollar side of fries which didn't cover the bottom of the box. For 35 dollars total, not worth it.
