Our experience at Dagim was very positive. We started with the corn and palm salad, dressed perfectly. Then shared the Whole Branzino which was excellent and the green sauce was to die for. Owners very appreciative for your support and Melissa our server was very friendly and on point. We will return.

Dagim is truly a gem in Great Neck! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, making it ideal for both family dinners and special occasions.
The food is absolutely outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish is prepared with care, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The fish is exceptionally fresh, cooked to perfection, and seasoned just right. The menu offers a wonderful variety, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Dagim has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Great Neck. If you’re looking for top-notch food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming environment, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

I came into this hidden gem, casually on a Sunday afternoon and Mr. Tony Naftchi was absolutely gracious and welcoming. Our server followed suit and was equally pleasant. The food was served in a timely manner and was truly exquisite! I highly recommend Dagim Restaurant to anyone and everyone! My family and I are definitely returning to this amazing establishment for the ambiance and the dining experience!

It's an okay Restaurant. Try the Miso Chilean Seabass.
They told us the food would be ready in one and a half hours and it was 7:30 pm so we ordered very expensive appetizers. Our group was 8 adults. Only half the appetizers came. We asked for more bread which never came. After 1hour and 45 minutes with no confirmed time for our dinner we cancelled our order. We were charged 20% on the original order + 20%on the appetizers so 40% altogether for service. The service was horrible. We protested and it took 20 minutes to get a revised bill. We left at 9:30pm still starved because $160 in tiny ordinary appetizers were not the least bit filling and the waiter apologized but it was the kitchen and management who should have apologized. Awful experience.

The food tasted phenomenal and the workers were so kind. However my partner and I were unfortunate to get food poisoning from the sushi. We’re vomiting and pooping nonstop with fever and chills. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS especially since I’m pregnant. This restaurant has so much potential but please please PLEASE be more sanitary and prep the sushi better. We want to love this place but we are deeply disappointed with the unfortunate results.
