George Martin's Strip Steak

Food was very good. We really believe it could've been much better for the money. Although the steak was very tender, it was just good. The creamed spinach was much too cheesy. The truffle fries left an aftertaste. Coffee was fantastic, but the crème brûlée was cold. The service was outstanding. The restaurant itself is very nice.

The food was terrific , but the live music was a distraction. The noise level was very high because we had to talk over the music.

We always have an incredible dining experience at Strip Steak! The food and service is impeccable. We had a table in the back room which is more private with only 4 tables and it was perfect! Our server was amazing and went out of her way to make our experience even more special. Five stars every single time!!!

Took another friend to dinner for birthday and the back fireplace room is more intimate and quiet - for a first date I would recommend that room - I like the first room to the left with that fireplace the best - the bar area is fine if your looking for entertainment lol and more noise ... this is one of my favorite restaurants on Long Island and for birthdays they give the bday person a $25 gift card which is so nice! And they get ice cream with a brownie rainbow sprinkles and a candle ... so perfect. My waitress Ruth was a delight I absolutely adored her ... thank you again George Martin for a wonderful meal and service.

Never disappointed! Consistently excellent food and service. We dine out a lot and this restaurant is our favorite. The 3-course Price Fixe has great options. The GM NY strip steak is outstanding as well as the GM salad; not to mention the delicious popovers and pretzel muffin. This restaurant is our go-to restaurant to have a delicious and amazing dining experience!

Was very loud last night near bar area - from now on I would prefer to sit outside or the room with the fireplace - had a headache when I left - but I took my friend out for his 60th bday - he had a wonderful meal - was his first time there. Waitress was super - I will ask for her next time I go which will be this Friday. Thank you for a wonderful meal and service as always.

Andrew was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He had the entire outside patio to cover but was attentive and professional. There was 10 of us, so a pretty large group to serve in addition to the other tables. We all enjoyed our food and service. Our heat lamp went out and he even went above and beyond to make sure that he got it back up and running. My husband and I love George Martin, it's our favorite place. Consistent and delicious. When you have staff members like Andrew it makes your experience even better. Thank you, Andrew!

Love this steak House .. one of my favorite places to go for a steak. Everything on the menu is declious, the staff is very attentive , service is quick, the ambience is very appealing.. must try at least once to become a regular customer

We have been telling good friends of ours that GM Strip Steak is In Our Opinion ione of if not the best steak house on Long Island if not the entire NYC area. You can't beat the service, the quality, the atmosphere or of course the food. Manager Liz and bartender Sean are fantastic but hats off to Jimmy in the kitchen!!! Best and I really do mean best bone in rib eye ever!!! I am happy to say our friends who thought I may have been exaggerating a bit fully and completely agreed. I think they were sold after the first round of signature cocktails and fresh made popovers !!! Ten salads were fresh and plentiful!! The seared tuna appy - amazing and the tomato and mozzarella salad amazing!! My wife and I had individual Starla's - she had a filet and I of course had a rib eye ( bone - in) they had the porterhouse for 2 and we shared a few sides. Brusssel sprouts, asparagus and sweet potato wedges - we all brought home left overs. We couldn't possibly have dessert. They tried the chocolate cake but ended up taking half of it home. An amazing dinner and they of course agreed - it is the best!!! They have already asked - when are we going back!!!!!! If you haven't been - go!!!!!!!

We celebrated our anniversary by dining outdoors, despite the chilly weather. Fortunately, they had heaters arranged for our comfort. The addition of wine truly enhanced the evening. The appetizers that arrived were exceptional. The French onion soup was the best I have ever tasted. We also ordered calamari, which was incredibly crispy and delicious. The wedge salad was a perfect precursor to the steak that my wife and I shared, which was simply outstanding. Without a doubt, it was the finest steak available in Suffolk.

It was a fabulous date night. The chili pop shrimp and porterhouse for two was to die for and cooked perfectly. Ambience, the live music, and our cozy table made the experience that much better. Staff and service was on top notch. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! This was our second time dining here and we were celebrating our anniversary. Every dish was perfect, the service was wonderful, and the ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and inviting. Most definitely looking forward to coming back.

Seated immediately, Quiet unassuming place, nothing screams “upscale.” Our server, Amanda, was excellent, the bread game is weak, some kind of tasteless popover. Next we had the bacon, inedible. Fatty, tough, just awful. Amanda apologized and removed it from the bill. From that rough start things improved dramatically. The filet, rib eye, roasted potatoes, creamed spinach were all very excellent. Don't miss the pecan tart, extraordinary. Amanda said the bacon is always a big hit with customers so I guess I'll have to try it again.

Food and service was very good. Loved the atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Just felt very rushed as soon as we sat down. Can't order as soon as you're seated and haven't had 5 minutes to look at the menus

My second time there and it was wonderful. My next anniversary I will ask for a more romantic setting. But the food pricing is just great will recommend for my family and friends to go there.
