I'm pretty sure I got poisoned here
Had lunch at Honshu Hibachi today ,also the last day in Rochester, they stir-fried the chicken right on the teppan grill in front of us — felt like dinner and a show.
Ha..not sure if the owner adjusted the flavors a bit for us fellow Asians… and not gonna lie, it worked. Delicious!

i doordashed Honshu for the first time and it was not too bad. the other asian food place in the food court, famous wok is awful. this place is better but still not the best.

It is in the food court at the mall, but that doesnt stop it from having the best chicken teriyaki and dumplings ive ever had from any Japanese restaurant. The employees are kind and work very hard. I take my kiddo here once a week to get the Chicken Teriyaki with double chicken, and fried dumplings. Only downside is the location as we've had to leave the mall while eating because of gang activity...but thats pretty much Rochester as a whole.

I LOVE their vegetables. Their teriyaki chicken is so delicious! Everyone is super nice. They are quick and efficient in their cooking. We, hubby and I, are a repeat customers.

Great price, and great portions but a let down.We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki which was a little salt but otherwise pretty good.Both fried rice and soup on the other hand weren't good at all. The fried rice was bland and looked like food colouring was added, and the rice used was parboiled.The Udon Noodle was ok but salty, the broth was also bland.

I have been a huge fan of this restaurant. The food is just great. Definitely suggest if you have never been there get the chicken and steak teriyaki..just amazing. Prices are fair and the amount of food you get is enough for two meals.
Vegetarian options: I have tried the tofu teriyaki, has a really good taste.

They’re not skimpy with your meat at all and it was delicious and piping hot. I spent $15 to sub the rice for the noodles. I got the teriyaki chicken and steak combo!

The Japanese Roasted chicken is delicious. Instead of rice or noodles I get veggies. I just added Sriracha Mayo for a little extra kick.
