Mr. Subb - Green Island

10 minutes before closing, I walk in and get turned away because they’re closing in 10 minutes and apparently he can’t make a sub in 10 minutes

5/10/2025 I ordered via Doordash from the Green Island, NY location and got rotten cajun potato nuggets that tasted really bad. This is the second time I got stale potato nuggets. The sub I got was delicious and fresh. I just wish there was better quality and consistency. Usually, these issues don't stem from day to day employees, it's up to the manager to teach their employees food handling and safety and supervise employees to make sure customers receive fresh items. No one likes to waste their money and time on bad food. Treat others people how you want to be treated.

DO NOT EAT HERE… the worker drop the cheese container on the FLOOR, picked it up and put it inside my bag with the potatoes nuggets.

Totally jipped me out of a sandwich. One slice of turkey, 1 slice of ham 1 slice of cheese. Paper thin sandwich for almost 10 dollars.

The 2 young ladies working at this location on 7/20 deserve to be recognized and commended for their courtesy and service. I'm a recently displaced vet and completely unfamiliar with this area. So that is to say, their friendly attitudes and courtesy were exemplary - in a time where that's rare in most American retail operations anymore - and made the experience even more pleasant than the food. Which was also a nice surprise, and well prepared. I can recommend this place as long as these two are running it.

I find all Mr subb employees to be pleasant and helpful. Subs are always good. I myself would like a roll that was a but thinner.

A place for me and my brother to run to when we want subs. The workers make you feel at home nice atmosphere definitely recommend their subs and don't forget to sub platter they're great too!

Vegetarian options: Get all your favorite veggies on the sub you can't beat that.

Blue haired tattoo girl made my father’s sub tonight, he asked for roast beef with Russian LTO and cheese.. she spreads one little handful of lettuce on the giant sub, then squeezes mayo all over the thing.. I spoke up, calling her out but my father, the nice man he is, accepted it..Hope she isn’t running the place because it’s just sad.

Service is outstanding but not much atmosphere as most orders are to go the ladies making sandwiches still don't know how many they make per day but it's got to be at least 100 or more try the ham wrap with Horsey Sauce spicy but good.

Cold stale nuggetts being served today. They also only give you 1 piece of meat on your 6inch.

Great place to have lunch, subs are very good. Portions are good, quality of the food is good. I like the cold cuts, steak, and Buffalo chicken sub. Much prefer to eat here rather than the national sub chain. Employees are fast, efficient and obliging. Atmosphere is clean, tidy and inviting. Bathroom was clean and stocked.
