The staff at the Wild Owl made are company meetings and holiday parties so effortless. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. From the decor, food, and service there is no better place to host an event or enjoy a casual lunch or dinner than the Wild Owl in Greene.

Update: didn’t even make it home before throwing up the veal.Tried the Wild Owl tonight for an anniversary dinner. Made reservations for 7 was promptly seated and given lunch menus. Appetizer came out before drinks. Husband got Rib Eye which was cheapened by gravy which tasted like meatloaf more than a steak. I got veal piccata which was served on egg noodles. It was slimy and gross. Mashed potatoes were delicious as was dessert. They had to wash a glass to bring our drinks out which the waitress made a point to tell us. They were not that busy so that was kinda odd. Overall dinner was mid to meh at best.Disappointing.

I had lunch with my mom and wife at the wild owl today. I’m giving a resounding 5 stars to the establishment mentioned because we had a wonderful meal, friendly staff and relaxing soft rock in the background. Nice atmosphere and food!

This is really a banquet hall. Went for lunch and got seated at a table in this very large banquet room with a few tables set up. Not a good atmosphere. Would not recommend going here for lunch. Drive a little further, and go to Wild Owl in Norwich. Much better atmosphere, nice place. Menu is the same at both places. If in need of an event venue, would recommend Wild Owl at Barons Inn because it was a nice looking place.

Their second location is just as good as their first. A larger space with plenty of seating and bar area. They offer a large selection of dinner choices and their normal menu. Definitely check out their rotating desserts. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and service was always great.
Decided to grab lunch at The Wild Owl after my SIL raved about the food, and she was right on target! I had the chicken salad wrap and my SO had the quesadilla, and we both cleaned our plates. Shout out to James for the great service, and recommending the Bavarian chocolate cake - it was heavenly. We plan on coming back very soon for dinner and bringing friends and family with us. Also, very reasonably priced.

Food was ok. Kinda Iike college dining hall food. Staff seemed like people were an inconvenience. When we asked one lady for silverwar we received attitude and dirty silverware. For the amount of money spent and time they had to prepare it was a huge disappointment!

My husband and I visited Wild Owl in Greene and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had a burger and a wrap for lunch and then a vanilla with a strawberry filling for dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

First, our server, Barbara was fantastic. Wife and I went there with another couple, ordered drinks. The wine was a generous pour, but the mix drinks were a bit weak. The appetizer, Mediterranean Abeetz was really good. The salads and soup were good. The meals were hit and miss. My wife and her friend got the brisket sandwich. Both said it was just ok, too fatty. My friend got the beef wellington and he loved it. I got the north Indian chicken and it was ok, but not much flavor. For desert we shared a chocolate owl, and we all loved it. I recommend trying this restaurant for something different at a reasonable price.

First visit was absolutely wonderful. Was greeted promptly and seated back in the old area that used ri be the big banquet room. Tables were clean and had cute owl decor. Some tables were also available to eat put on the back deck as well! We had a garlic fry app, I had a Mediterranean abeetz and a meter chicken wrap with house chips. And 2 cokes. It was great presentation and delicious. We also grabbed 2 pieces of peanut butter pie to go. Over all we enjoyed our meal and the experience. We will definitely recommend to our friends and will be back for dinner. As we passed by the bar it looked fully stocked and beautiful. Being an old Barron's fan this was great to see it open and great food and staff with smiles!
