First time at L'uccello's, came just before it was closing. Didn't expect much as I thought Pizza would not be fresh as it was late at night. But Pizza was fresh and yummy! Lexi waited on us and she was great, great service and fun personality!

I held back for a few months but its time I just say something- I wish they would cook the dough and use fresher more tasty recipe - its been 4 times and their dough is never cooked enough and has no crisp to edge - chicken on pizza was hard and of low quality and had tendons in it making it something I discarded- I want them to try harder - they just need to ask themselves "do we just want to be average? or can we do better" with so many places on long island to choose from I just wish they could stand out with taste - if I were to open a pizzeria I would go to the ends of the earth to find the best and bring it to L'Ucellos- it's not too late - I will be back to see if they finally realize average is not good enough on Long Island. Im hoping they change for the better and keeping quiet won't help them improve... picture lines out the door like they have in Brooklyn pizza places- and bring it to Greenlawn...

Finally an amazing pizza spot on Long Island! The vodka slice is hands down the best grandma pizza I've ever had. It had pasta on it, which totally elevated the taste of the slice. The regular cheese was perfect too... sauce was great and crust was even better. I can't wait to go back!

Question: How on earth do you order food and pick it up and it's barely warm? Is the food sitting around and they just hand it out? How is a pizza cold from a pizzeria? The pie looked like a house slice pie placed in the box, he slices were separated. They were apart like they were laid in the box. Every pie I've ever picked up in my life is piping hot, oil dripping, pieced fused together because the cheese is HOT, well not here. The wings, dry and cold like they were sitting around. Inedible right in the trash. Don't even get me started on the pile of absolute slop that is called a Caesar Salad, shame because the dressing was good, but the entries salad was swimming in dressing. Salad inedible, trash. Never again

This is our family’s new favorite pizzeria on Long Island. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Their Margherita pie is the best we’ve had. We also really like the way the dough gets a nice crispy crunch on the bottom. Oh yea, the staff is very kind and attentive to their guests. ????

I’ve tried a few of the pizzas and wings. With all the different pizza restaurants in Greenlawn to choose from, this is my go to place now. Chef James does it right.
This was some of the best pizza I have tasted on Long Island. The pizza was just the amount of cheese and pepperoni. It was greasy enough. It was delicious. The garlic knots were so good. They warmed them up and then poured butter with garlic all over them. It was so good. The service was great. Very nice and patient. I loved the way the restaurant was set up. It was nice and clean.
It's really good here and the perfect addition to Greenlawn town. I recommend the sandwiches they are OUTSTANDING. Service is amazing, I talked to a blonde girl named Ella at the front and she was so sweet. I'm definitely coming here again. akeep makin the good food luccellos!

Pedestrian at best. Dough not the best and sauce under seasoned . I think one of the reviewers lives in the area and likes to boost the locals. Not the first time over the years. Will give a second chance with some slices and maybe a dinner plate. Will always give a new place a second chance.

I am a huge fan of the owned and also Chef James. He is single handedly putting Greenlawn on the culinary map. Swallow located across the street and now L'ucchello (bird in Italian) is not only just for pizza but dinners too. Spaghetti and meatballs, finally a sauce that is not watery!! This is a must go to!!
Solid basic Italian dishes. Very good pizza.
