Sorry to have to leave a negative review. Been a customer for many years but the last two experiences were horrible. First went for the lunch special restaurant wasn’t crowded and sat at bar as usual. Waited over 45 minutes for a hamburger. This was a little bit annoying. Visited again last night with a friend for the Thursday Steamed Lobster Special. The lobster was brought to the table blacked I questioned why and said it must be broiled because every steamed lobster in my life time is red not black. The waiter took it to the kitchen and said the chef said it was steamed ( I mean really) next up it was supposed to come with roasted potatoes the waiter brought French Fries which he should have advised of the menu change. The blackened lobster was over cooked and not tasty at all. It was a really bad dining experience Obviously the so called chef doesn’t know how to steam a lobster and over cooked it. Moving on I will no longer be a patron of this establishment

We have patronized Ruvo for years. We enjoy having lunch probably once a month or so. Last months visit was a bit frustrating. The high top we sat at almost toppled over when my friend came to sit down. The server quickly brought over an item to stuff under the pedestal to steady the table which seemed to work. Our next issue was a bottle of wine we wanted to order had two different prices on the wine list with a $10 difference in price. So we asked our server which one is it? He had to check with his manager. (We usually order a wine they sadly no longer carry so we tried to find a suitable substitute). Strange. Our food was average. My friend’s dish had the sauce on it after she requested it to be on the side. Her vegetables were shiny.It wasn’t as good as it used to be, flounder and oddly colored breadcrumbs. My chicken Caesar salad was ok. They had a baby “sprinkle “ going on in the remainder of the restaurant which is great but our service was spotty. Not sure if we will return next time out.

Nothing special. Italian Restaurant and no Teramasu for dessert???. Interior design poor. Service very slow. Do I go again?, most likely No. For the first time it's ok, but not for a second.

We were a party of 9. The service was terrific. We received our meals in a reasonable amount of time and the servers checked in often, refilling water glasses, checking on who needed drinks, etc... The food was delicious. Everyone was happy with their meals. We'll be back!
